Of the 43 villages in the Szepietowo commune, as many as 38 have two-part names. The collection includes, among others: Moczydły-Jakubowięta, Pułazie-Świerże, Jabłoń-Samsony, Szepietowo-Żaki, Dąbrowa-Wilki, Szymbory-Andrzejowięta and Wyszonki-Posele. These are memorabilia of the families of partial nobility, also known as minor nobility, whose estates comprised the former Bielsko land. In the 16th century, reaching north to the Grodno and Trakai counties, and in the south, bordering the Drohiczyn and Mielnica lands. The largest of the three Podlasie lands and constituting the northern half of Podlasie. The land to which we invite you. In the village of Średnica-Jakubowięta stands the former house of Stasia's grandmother. It has been hosting members of our family for years, and has recently been ready to open its doors to you. Renovated, exposing the old brick, preserving the original floors, antique wardrobes and the openness of Podlasie. Inside, there is a working tiled stove and a collection of grandma's objects and things found in neighbors' attics that create an atmosphere. Families come here to sleep in four cozy bedrooms, play board games in the living room, eat breakfast on the terrace and sit together by the fire. Jump into the sauna and a tub full of bubbles and watch the bubbles play on the playground. There will also be breakfasts with local goodies and kartacze for dinner.

Kasztanówka is a spacious cottage located in the Podlasie countryside, a two-hour drive from Warsaw. Its 130 m² space accommodates 10 people in four bedrooms.

The ground floor is primarily a living room with a sofa and armchairs, a dining table, and a fireplace, along with a bookcase and a selection of board games. Next to it is a spacious kitchen. The ground floor also features a bathroom with a bathtub.

Sleeping Arrangement
The ground floor features two bedrooms:
– a bedroom with a double bed,
– a bedroom with three single beds.

The attic also offers two bedrooms:
– a bedroom with two single beds,
– a bedroom with a double and a single bed.

Each attic bedroom has its own balcony and a private bathroom with a shower.

We can also accommodate a cot in one of the bedrooms.

In front of the house is a terrace with a wooden table and a view of our large, green plot. The garden features a 6-person garden sauna (it doesn't heat up to more than about 80°C) and a hot tub (available for an additional fee). There's also a designated area for a bonfire. The grounds are large and fenced, and pets are welcome.

One of the buildings on the property is a renovated barn, perfect for hosting family gatherings or workshops. This is available for an additional fee and upon agreement with the hosts.

If you'd like to arrive by train, it's easy! We're less than 3 km from the train station in Szepietowo – we can pick you up from the station and drop you off on the day of your departure.

The kitchen is large and spacious - you can do the cooking yourself or rely on us. We will be happy to prepare you Podlaskie breakfasts based on local products: homemade cold cuts from the neighbor, our cheeses and eggs, bread from a local bakery. We can also provide you with local delicacies in the form of seasonal vegetables and fruits, milk, cold meats, cheeses and even alcohol. When it comes to lunches, you can also count on us - we discuss their form individually. To order meals and arrange a time for their delivery, please write to us in advance.

Kasztanówka is located on the outskirts of the village of Średnica-Jakubowięta. It will appeal to families and groups of friends who are looking for peace, contact with nature and want to get to know the atmosphere of Podlasie. Both the house and the plot offer a lot of space. It's nice to sit by the fireplace and play board games in the evenings. It's equally nice to light a fire and jump into the sauna while the children play on the playground.

Our garden and yard are open to you, and there are:
– terrace with wooden table and hammock,
– place for a bonfire,
– relaxation zone with a hot tub and sauna,
– double playground for children.

Right from our place you can go for a walk to the meadow and walk around the village. If you want to visit other attractions, we recommend:
– Museum of Agriculture in Ciechanowiec with an open-air museum where you can see, among others, 9 cottages, a landowner's manor, 2 maneges (enclosures for treadmills), 2 manor granaries (lamuses), a forge, a forester's house and peasants' granaries,
– Podlasie Herbal Garden in Koryciny, a botanical garden where you can admire medicinal and aromatic plants, there is also an inn with old Polish cuisine,
– Narew National Park with a tangle of paths with footbridges that you can walk on all day long – a footbridge to Śliwno starts in Waniewo, leading through the floodplains of the Narew River, the biggest attraction are crossings (using floating bridges) over numerous river beds here (there are ornithological sites near the footbridge). and observation tower), the second is a footbridge among the swamps in Kurów with two observation decks,
– in Kurów there is a manor park (the seat of the Narew National Park), where you can walk along charming linden alleys and see a spreading oak, a California fir and a red-leafed variety of maple,
– the castle in Tykocin, where you can visit the castle underground, halls and cloisters and eat lunch in the restaurant,
– Museum of Nature – Lutosławski Manor in Drozdowo.

For children, we have a safe space for all kinds of play and a wooden playground. You can go on a family trip to the alpacarium in Rudka.
