At a glance
The road turns towards us behind a huge thatched house. It's one of ten buildings in the Kashubian village of Paraszyno, some of which are no longer inhabited. Ours is surrounded by forest and difficult to find. Signal reception is spotty along the way, whether you're coming from the south or covering the distance to Tricity in just over half an hour along the Kashubian Route. Once you pass the gate, you can completely forget about your online life and focus on other things.
We renovated this house for ourselves and our friends. It was created with the idea of coming here with a group of children, going for walks together, entertaining the kids, cooking dinner for the weekdays, and a whole host of things that foster relationships and fond memories. They'll warm you like a warm blanket on chilly evenings. Create your own personal collection of pleasures. Our suggestions include children's laughter echoing from the treetops, long conversations with friends at the table, drinking coffee on the terrace, and walking barefoot on the grass. The ubiquitous greenery and the prevailing tranquility contribute to the relaxing atmosphere. Parents are encouraged to relax, while children have different rules. They can get dirty, walk in rain puddles in their wellies, collect bugs and berries, sleep on the terrace or in a hammock. Climb trees, gaze at the stars through a telescope, and compete to see who can hula-hoope the longest. This summer retreat is recommended for spring, summer, and autumn, and will be remembered for years to come.

Ola and Artur, furniture makers by profession and passion, love giving furniture a second life and creating spaces. Over the course of three years, primarily the three of us and our daughter Laura, but also with the invaluable help of friends, we created a magical place in the forest – Summer House. Here, time passes slowly, and unforgettable moments multiply carefree.
