Złota Chatka

The most comfortable place to stay in Złote Chatka is 6 people, although you can also accommodate 8 people. The house has 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed. 2 people can sleep on the fold-out sofa. House layout: ground floor – large, open space with a living room and kitchen, - bedroom, – large bathroom with bathtub and shower, floor – 2 large double bedrooms, each approx. 30 m². The cottage is surrounded by a plot of land fenced with a wooden fence - pay attention to it if you want to come with a dog, because for many people it may not be a problem. In the garden with a view, there is a gazebo perfect for a barbecue, and there is a hot tub near the trees. The house also has an atmospheric covered terrace, perfect for summer evenings.

On site you will find a fully equipped kitchen with all amenities. You can order a breakfast basket containing food products according to your preferences. If possible, there will also be fresh cake waiting for you in the cottage.

The house is located right next to the trail along the Beskid Mały range. In your free time, you can go for a short walk or a full-day hike in the mountains. For those who love two-wheelers: the multitude of route options will make it difficult to ride the same path twice for several days. At the end of the day, decide for yourself whether you want to lie in hot water in a wood-fired tub or hide in front of the fireplace with a book from the rich and varied library. For vagabonds – Following the yellow trail you can reach Jawornica with the ruins of a shelter from 1938, and from there further to Trzyna. If you're lucky, you'll eat the local cottage buns and chocolate rolls. Straight from the oven! – On a nice day, it is worth driving to Rzyki to climb Leskowiec. From there you have another 5 km to the narrow path on Magurka Ponikiewska. It will lead you to Jaśkowa Ark, where the hermit Jan Sasor lived for almost 20 years. A man of great faith and kindness, he chose this part of the world to build a house-boat that was to save him during the God-sent flood. According to some hikers, you can still meet his friendly spirit, showing those lost in the Beskid fog the way. – For the most ambitious people, we recommend a trip to Babia Góra – the sunrises and sunsets there can stay in your memories for longer. For swimmers and water lovers – Lake Mucharskie (34 km) serves primarily as a retention and breeding function. There are no official swimming areas here, and therefore no crowds of people. The reservoir was created on the Skawa River, but its last years as a free river were shown in the magical film "With the Flow of Life". – If you choose Żywieckie or Międzybrodzkie Lake (20 km), you will probably encounter more tourists, but also prepared swimming areas and various proposals for spending time on the water. We especially recommend a group SUP trip at the BANANA school, run by Dominika and Mateusz. They often invite you to SUP under the glow of the full moon or during sunrise. It's worth it! – In the immediate area, we recommend a walk to the waterfalls under Złota Górka. According to legend, it was there, in secret caves on the slopes of Złota Górka, that robbers hid their treasures. Maybe there are some left? For those in love with architecture and history – Wadowice (16.5 km), which is of course most associated with Karol Wojtyła, hides charming alleys and cafes. The battle for the title of the best cream cakes is still unresolved, so we will not recommend the only right place to try them. After dessert, it is worth visiting the intimate Bałysówka art gallery in Tomice near Wadowice. – If you like ethnographic parks, you cannot miss the one from Kocoń (30 km). In spring, when the grass is lush green and everything is in bloom, the park is amazing! – In nearby Andrychów (8 km) there is a nice market square and the Bobrowski Palace (the latter, unfortunately, has been neglected for many years). On a historical trip, take a croissant from the over 130-year-old "U Frysia" bakery in one hand. – The castle park in Żywiec is considered one of the most beautiful in this region. It comes from the beginning of the 18th century and many talented hands have contributed to ensuring that it continues to delight despite the passage of time. In winter, for skiers and snowboarders – Our surroundings are asking for you to strap on your skis or board! The nearest station Czarny Groń (20 km) offers 5 routes and an impressive snow park.
