Next to the slopes of Śnieżnica and Lubogoszcz, there are two modern cottages with unlimited views of the rolling Beskid land. The idea for it was born in the clouds, during a paragliding flight over Kasina Wielka. Paragliders like this place and choose several of the peaks of the Beskid Wyspowy as their starting sites. All of them, of which there are over a hundred, do not connect into long strands, they are like isolated islands surrounded by deep valleys. You can get some of them by going to tourist scales straight from the houses. Blue runs, among others, in one direction to Ciecień and in the other to Śnieżnica and Ćwilin. Red to Wierzbanowska Góra or Lubogoszcz. Local legend says that in the forests covering its slopes there are 99 hidden springs where devils grind corn. We haven't checked this, but we are sure that after breakfast or coffee on the terrace with a view, you just need to walk 200 meters to reach the slope. We are also sure that 5 people will be able to relax comfortably in the interior with a mountain atmosphere, which we have enriched with the gifts of nature. The living room will delight them with a tiled stove and panoramic windows, and the surrounding area will offer many ideas for spending time. We invite you to the sides of the slopes and to the trail.

An hour's drive from Krakow, in Kasina Wielka, there are two modern, year-round cottages, located between the slopes of Śnieżnica and Lubogoszcz.
Each of them is 80 m² and consists of:
– two bedrooms on the first floor (one with a double bed, the other with a double and a single bed),
– a living room with a tiled stove connected to a kitchenette,
– bathrooms with shower,
– terrace.
The interiors of the houses are a combination of modernity with references to solutions typical of the region and natural and seasonal additions (forest gifts, river pebbles, grass). There are also memorabilia of my grandfather Marian, who was a forester.

There are two houses, just like the peaks between which Kasina Wielka is located. One has a spectacular view of Lubogoszcz from the living room with panoramic windows and the glass bedroom. From the second house you can see Śnieżnica.

There is a barbecue shelter in front of the houses.

Although you should not miss anything in our kitchenettes, the surrounding area encourages you to taste local delicacies. Mszana Dolna is full of honey, the nearby forests are full of mushrooms, and fans of smoked fish and cold meats will also find something for themselves. Once you've slept in comfortable beds and had breakfast with a view of the mountain panoramas, it's worth going to the mountains. The following trails run through the plot:
– red to Lubogoszcz (approx. 2 h),
– blue on Ciecień (approx. 3 h).
They are part of the GSBW - the Main Trail of the Beskid Wyspowy, which runs, among others, Mogielnica (the highest peak of the range), Łopień, Ćwilin, Śnieżnica and Luboń Wielki. The entire length is 320 km. From the observation tower at the top of Mogielnica you will be able to admire the panorama of the Beskid Wyspowy, Sądecki, Gorce, Pieniny and Tatra Mountains. Other nearby observation towers are located in Skiełek, Modynia and near Jaworze. It is worth going to Dzielec and the Astronomical Observatory in Lubomir.

On the slopes of Lubogoszcz you can find Morskie Oko and Żabie Oko. There are apparently 99 smaller springs in the forests.

In winter, you will have the slope at your fingertips, because Kasina Ski & Bike Park is 200 meters from us. This is a place for skiing, snowboarding and cycling, because it is also the largest bicycle park in Poland. There are 9 different bicycle routes (over 17 km in total).

Fans of cross-country skiing will love the routes around Mogielnica. There you can count on 25 km of year-round trails, which will also be perfect for cycling and walking.

Kasina Wielka is often chosen by paragliders. Starting points include: in Ćwilin and Śnieżnica. There is a landing site right next to it, and you can watch the flights from the terraces. The starting points are, among others: on Śnieżnica, Ciecień, Szczebel or Ćwilin.

Other nearby attractions:
– Termy Gorce, i.e. a combination of thermal waters with saunas and jacuzzi,
– Lake Dobczyce with a castle towering over it,
– retro train running from Chabówka to Mszana Dolna,
– Cistercian brewery in Szczyrzyce with local beer,
– a shepherd's hut in Jaworzec with local cuisine,
– in winter, ice rinks in Myślenice or Mszana Dolna,
– Raba and soaking your feet in it in the summer and swimming in the winter (there are rocky beaches and mountain waterfalls along the river banks) and Kasinka, where you can take a walk,
– Zamczysko nad Rabą nature reserve with the ruins of a watchtower and the remains of a deep moat located on the rocks,
– the Niezapominajka trail in Kornatka, from which you can deviate near the wood yard and, in the clearing near Trupielec, see about 40 cremation barrows dating back to the 7th-9th centuries.

You can also work at the side of the slope. The Internet works flawlessly, and the views are soothing and improve creative processes.
