Everyone knows Masuria and Kashubia, but have you heard about the Świętokrzyskie Lake District? If you want to surprise your friends with your choice of holiday destination, or you simply live in Kielce or Częstochowa and Śniardwy is too far for you, come to Jedel. You'll see that micro-tours are just as cool. While the north of Poland was cut by ice, the areas of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains were whipped by strong winds. A lot of sand was blown out of the depressions in the area, and when 10,000 years ago, the climate warmed up and lakes formed in the depressions. These, however, were always in the shadow, passed by Poles on their way to the more spectacular north. It was only at the turn of the century that scientists from Kielce shed appropriate light on these aeolian stars. They proved that nowhere in Poland, in upland and mountain areas, is there such a large number of lakes and dunes, and even non-glacial ones! Not only is this a paradise for naturalists, full of rare specimens, but we are also visited by secularists. This is how the local people talk about the phenomenon of fires dancing over the water, resulting from the combustion of methane emitted from shallow lakes. So if you don't want to look like a miner after a long shift, skip swimming in these dense, peat lakes and instead watch the birds, go for a walk in the forest and admire the Świętokrzyskie lakes from the piers. It will be wild and beautiful.
Our intimate house is located behind the village of Jedle, in the Natura 2000 area. There is silence around, interrupted by the singing of cranes, and in front of the house there is a view of the forest and our own pond (you can relax by it, but it is not used for bathing).
The cottage faces a rarely used gravel road. We have some neighbors nearby, whom you will rarely see due to the location of our house.
The house has:
– living room with a fold-out sofa (where 2 people can sleep) and a TV,
– kitchenette with dining area,
– bedroom with a double bed,
– 2 single mattresses on the mezzanine,
– bathroom with shower.
At your disposal will be the entire large plot stretching to the forest, where you will find a sauna, a hot tub and a place for a bonfire and barbecue.
We offer our guests home-made breakfasts and dinners delivered to the house. We focus on traditional Polish cuisine, and in season we use our own vegetables and fruits from the garden.
The hot tub and sauna are one of the main attractions of our house. They can be used all year round. In the guest house we have a brine graduation tower, which has health-promoting properties.
For those who crave sports, we rent bicycles.
In the summer you can spend pleasant time at the pond among wild nature. We also have a barbecue and comfortable garden furniture for those interested.
Families with children can feel safe with us. Our large space of 80 ares is fenced and favors outdoor play.
We are located in a Natura 2000 area, so we strongly encourage you to explore our charming area, which includes Lake Żabiniec, beautiful at any time of the year. Kilometers of bicycle paths favor long hikes.
There is a playground for children 100 meters from our plot. There is also a stud farm 5 km from us. And only 2 km from the Żabiniec House you can use the tennis court free of charge, play basketball, table tennis, volleyball or football, and swim in the outdoor swimming pool.

For the youngest, there is a playground just 100 meters from the house. We have a large space on a fenced plot that is perfect for playing. On colder days, children can play board games, do puzzles or read books.

Our place is conducive to comfortable work due to the peace and quiet.
