Grandpa Karol was a carpenter. When he was returning through the forest from the oil mine in Mokre, he stared at the slender fir trees. He imagined what function they would play in his and his grandmother Jadwiga's home. The log building, thanks to the cooperation of family and neighbors, was built in 1949. Next to it there was a stable, the roof tiles of which were made by grandma and grandpa themselves using a special mold, mixing sand and cement. Today it is our carpentry shop, where we have made many items for the home. Still smelling of wood and creaking, telling all sorts of stories. Its upper part belongs to us, the ground floor with a separate entrance will be a comfortable apartment with two bedrooms and a living room connected to the kitchen, perfect for seven people with pets. Karolówka is characterized by a certain property that we call slowing down of time. It is a calming place, although visitors from the city usually need a few days to realize that they can rest. We have a sofa bed in the garden among old trees, a table where you can sit alone or with us, and proximity to a warm mountain river. Can you ask for anything more?

Welcome to the Bukowskie Foothills, near the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains and the border of the Bieszczady and Low Beskid Mountains. In our wooden house, dating back to 1949, we offer a 75-square-meter apartment located on the ground floor. Inside, you'll find two bedrooms, a kitchenette with access to the porch and garden, a living room with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and access to a second porch and garden, and a bathroom with a shower. The river-facing bedroom has a large 320x200 cm bed, while the orchard-facing bedroom has a large 180x200 cm bed. You can also sleep on the sofa in the living room. When unfolded, the futon mattress measures 160x200 cm. All bed linens and sheets are made of 100% natural cotton, washed at high temperatures, and ironed. We have two smart TVs with high-speed fiber-optic internet, a full Netflix package, and access to TV programs. Books, albums, and guides to the region are available.

The garden surrounding the house is filled with apple trees, cherry trees, and fruit bushes, lemon balm, nettle, oregano, and mint. There's also a hammock and areas for grilling and playing boules. We have two garden sofas where you can listen to bird radio in the morning or take a nap. The mountain river Osława flows right next to the house, along which we have a private, green beach and a fire pit with benches.

The property is fully fenced, and your pets are welcome.
Want to go somewhere without your dog, like a mountain trail or to a restaurant? You can leave your pet at home or with us; we're experienced. We'll be happy to take care of them and keep them company.

You can help yourself to your heart's content from our organic garden and orchard. In season, the orchard boasts cherries, apples, currants, and raspberries. On-site, you'll be able to purchase local specialties from local farmers. Local produce? We'll connect you with local producers of honey, white cheese, milk, sheep's cheese (in season), and butter. For an additional fee, you can order a one-course vegetarian dinner.

Welcome to Czaszyn, which lies on the Osława River. The river, which flows right next to the house, divides the Bukowskie Foothills from the Western Bieszczady Mountains. Just north of us lie the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains, and to the south lies the border between the Beskid Niski and the Bieszczady Mountains.

In the organic garden surrounding our house, you'll feel like you're on vacation with your grandparents in the countryside. We've created a covered patio with a sofa, table, and barbecue area. A hammock and a swing chair hang among the trees. In season, cherry, sour cherry, and apple trees bear fruit, providing shade on hot days. Help yourself to their bounty!

A few steps from the house is a green, private beach on the Osława River. There's a bonfire area with benches. You can swim, fish, and go swimming in the winter.

We are surrounded by colorful, fragrant meadows and forests, filled with paths. Roe deer, red deer, and bison emerge from the nearby clearings in the evenings near the forest. Many bird species inhabit the area, so if you're a photography or birdwatching enthusiast, you'll be delighted. Two bicycles are waiting for you on site; if you need more, a nearby rental shop will deliver them to us.

Our surroundings (both near and far) are rich in attractions. We've prepared a list for you:
– The Solina Dam (30 km from us) and Lake Solina. A cable car route runs along the dam, offering views of the lake, the surrounding hills, and the green, gentle ranges of the Słonne Mountains and Bieszczady Mountains. On the lake, you can sail, kayak, or even kitesurf.
– Lake Myczkowskie (30 km from us), surrounded by a network of walking trails. It's more wild and intimate here than at Lake Solina. You can have a picnic on the grass by the shore or go to the viewpoint in the quarry in Bóbrka.
- The historical and cultural trail Around Baladhora, which will allow you to discover the most interesting places and areas in the villages of Morochów, Mokre, and the now-defunct village of Zawadka Morochowska.
- There are several spas in the area where you can sample mineral waters: Iwonicz, Rymanów, Krynica, and Polańczyk.
- You can see beautiful wooden Orthodox churches in Ulucz, Szczawne, Komańcza, and Morochów, among others.
- The Przełom Osławy Pod Duszatynem Nature Reserve, from where a trail leads to the Zwiezło Reserve with the Duszatyńskie Lakes on the slope of Chryszczata. The second nearby reserve is Przełom Osławy Pod Mokrem.

– Sanok (15 km from us), with the Museum of Folk Architecture, where you can see examples of the wooden architecture of the Bieszczady and Low Beskids, and the Historical Museum with a gallery of works by Zdzisław Beksiński.
– Przemyśl (80 km from us), one of the oldest Polish cities, with a beautiful market square, an underground tourist route, an arboretum, the Museum of Bells and Pipes, and a ski slope.
– Lesko (11 km from us), where you can see the 16th-century Kmita Castle located on the banks of the San River and a synagogue with one of the most valuable Jewish cemeteries in Poland (the oldest grave dates back to the first half of the 16th century).
– Park of Miniature Temples in Myczkowce.
– Góra Sobień Nature Reserve with a viewing platform (the so-called Bieszczady Gate).
– Ruins of the Discalced Carmelite Monastery in Zagórze. – Hiking trails in the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains (e.g., the Przemyśl-Sanok Red Trail, the Trail in the Footsteps of the Good Soldier Švejk, and the Yellow Trail from Orli Kamień to Sanok).
– We are approximately 70 km from the Wetlińska and Caryńska mountain pastures.

The nearest ski resorts and lifts are in Wańkowa, Weremień, Bystre, Kalnica, Ustrzyki Dolne, and Puławy. In winter, you can go ski touring. In summer, we recommend rafting down the San River.

Children will have at their disposal the entire garden, a green beach by the river, a tent and everything that is best in nature - trees, sticks and pebbles. The youngest will have fun watching waterfowl and domestic birds. Children can shoot a bow under the supervision of their parents or play boules. The biggest attraction, however, is swimming in the clean and warm river in summer, where you can also release ducks and build dams.

We reassure those who come to us for workation. The Internet is fast and reliable (we have optical fiber) and you can easily work here.
