I welcome you in the heart of the Elbląg Old Town, on Wigilijna Street, one of the oldest streets in the city. In the place where it began, on the side of Rycerska Street, there once stood the Arch Tower, also known as the Horse Tower. It separated the new city from the old one, which was destroyed during the war. Wigilijna was one of the first streets where some of the tenement houses were restored. At the corner of Wigilijna and Mennicza there is a tenement house that once belonged to the mint, and in front of Stary Runek there is a tenement house with a beautiful portal that hosted kings in front of the Kings' House. There are many things you may not know about the lowest city in Poland. Elbląg is one of the oldest Polish cities, and nearby there are traces of the ancient settlement of Truso. You can discover stories by walking, kayaking or cycling. You can also go on a cruise on the Elbląg Canal and on a narrow-gauge ride. Set off from a comfortable, bright apartment, whose interiors I can say are exquisite. I found and added furniture and accessories that make it feel like home. A house to which I invite you to relax and have a closer encounter with the Elbląg Uplands and the Gdańsk Coast.
On one of the oldest streets in Elbląg, in the heart of the Old Town, I have created for you a spacious, bright apartment with an area of 65 m². Inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen connected to the living room, which is divided into a lounge and dining area. The apartment also includes a bedroom with a comfortable bed and a bathroom with a large shower. It will be most comfortable for a couple or a single traveler, but if you decide to come as a group of four, two people can sleep on the fold-out sofa in the living room.
Welcome to Elbląg, one of the oldest cities in Poland (and also in Germany), which is the lowest-lying city in Poland. It is located at the mouth of the Elbląg River, to which it owes its name, to the Vistula Lagoon. Geographically, it is the south-west of the moraine Elbląg Upland and the Gdańsk Coast. Elbląg is located within the Elbląg Plateau Landscape Park.
The attraction is the old/new town of Elbląg, in the heart of which you will live. During World War II, the old town was completely destroyed. The Old Town of Elbląg was rebuilt in a style called retroversion, in accordance with the old urban layout, but freely referring to the historical style. Take a walk around this part of the city to admire Elbląg's tenement houses, including: the Jost von Kampen tenement house (ul. Grabary 12), a tenement house with a carved entrance portal from the end of the 16th century (ul. Wigilijna 3) and tenement houses on ul. Saint Spirit 3-4. Bednarska is very close to the port from which historic ships sail on unique slipways. Thanks to the ditch - a shipping canal connecting the Bay of Gdańsk and the Vistula Lagoon, you can get from Elbląg to Krynica Morska.
Nearby there is the Grupa Wodna marina, where you can not only rent a kayak, SUP and play volleyball, but also drink coffee and use the sauna. You can also rent bikes there to see Żuławy and the Vistula Spit from the perspective of two wheels. Velo Baltica (a route included in the international EuroVelo 10 route) leads from Świnoujście to Elbląg, one of the longest marked bicycle routes in Poland, leading mostly close to the sea.
What else is worth doing in Elbląg?
– visit Pheasantry, a forest park with a beech and hornbeam forest, ravines, streams and hills – an ideal place for a walk, a bike ride, and in winter, cross-country skiing. There are four trails, and in the park's buffer zone you will find Góra Chrobrego, which offers a panoramic view of the city,
– go to Lake Drużno,
– visit the Art Center – EL Gallery,
– see the Market Gate, which is the only preserved fragment of the original defensive fortifications, where there is a viewing point,
– enter the cathedral of St. Nicholas from the 18th century, where there is also a viewing point,

It is worth going on a kayaking trip along the Elbląg Canal or a cruise along it from Elbląg to Buczyniec (cruises take place from the beginning of May to the end of September and have various lengths). You can also set off on a narrow-gauge railway that connects Nowy Dwór Gdański with the coastal towns of the Vistula Spit. In addition to beautiful views of the Żuławy landscape, forests and beaches of the spit, you can see interesting monuments, including: the Gothic church in Cyganek, the railway bridge over the Szkarpawa River and the Stutthof Museum in Sztutowo.
