There were signs. It turned out, for example, that the von Kramst mausoleum in the park was the work of a design studio next to my sister's house in Berlin. Or a postcard from the palace in Maciejowiec sent by a friend whom no one remembers. My wife's friend found it in a souvenir box. Where did it come from? It was written when we didn't go to Maciejowiec yet and it never even crossed our minds that one day we would buy a palace. As if everything was pushing us towards this place.
Family history connected us with him. When the palace ceased to be the seat of the von Kramsts, the summer residence of the Scheiblers, i.e. textile tycoons from Reymont's "Promised Land", or even a tuberculosis sanatorium, it was bought by the Wrocław University of Economics, where my father lectured. She created the Creative Work House here, where her mother and sister spent their holidays. Therefore, when it turned out that the palace was for sale, we did not hesitate long. We reorganized our lives to undertake its renovation and protection of the historic 14-hectare park. A trusted dendrologist-alpinist is injecting trees there. We lived in a Dutch house next door for a year and aroused more interest than the palace itself. We still have a long way to go, but we have just managed to move to a historic stable and open an apartment for guests there. If you love history and monuments, we feel that staying in the manor during renovation will give you a thrill. It will be an unforgettable experience.

In the 1960s, apartments for employees of the State Forests were built in former stables located on the edge of a beautiful forest. We purchased one of them and after a thorough renovation, we made it available to our guests as an apartment.
