In the westernmost range of the Carpathians, shepherds celebrate the traditional and redyk, when it snows, it snows heavily, so sleds and snowshoes are set in motion, and old highland houses find new owners. It is here, amidst the silence interrupted by the wailing of sheep, that we run a cozy homestead in the Żywiec Beskids. And in it, next to a traditional cottage built in 1894, we also have a cottage with the interiors of an old barn, but in a comfortable setting and with a view of the panorama of Muńcoł, deer and birdsong as a bonus. Just right for a single, a duo or a quartet. The summer season looks like this: kilometers of trails in the mountains or hammocks or deckchairs in the garden and a tan, as you can see. You can go to the mountains, knock on the shepherd's door for the best oscypek cheese and eat plums straight from our trees. To relax after a long hike, you can jump into the pool in the former quarry under our mountain. In winter, traverse the snowy trails in the available snowshoes, build a snowman and put an igloo in the garden, or grab a sled and slide down the hill just behind the fence.

We don't serve magic or sorcery. But we do have people. People of flesh and blood. We want you to feel at home with us.

We are a married couple in love with the mountains and nature. Varsovians who led the life of townspeople, who set off in search of a mountain home on the edge of a natural paradise. We knew that the place had to be special. An old cottage that needs to be reconstructed, in the not yet fully discovered, not trampled by tourists mountains, close to trails, high with a view of the surrounding mountains, with access to the forest, surrounded by meadows, so that we can implement our ideas for the development of the cottage in the future. The search did not last long. A coincidence took us to Soblówka, a village in Beskid Żywiecki, on the very border with Slovakia, and there to a mountain cottage with a soul, built in 1894. Despite the fact that we visited many places in the following weeks, we knew that our hearts had already chosen it. We became the owners of a mountain cottage right on the trail, surrounded by silence and breathtaking views of nature, away from the rush of the city. Come to us in the mountains to experience peace and quiet, listen to the singing of birds, and the roar of deer in autumn, gaze at the starry dark sky, traverse uncrowded mountain trails, follow unpaved trails in snowshoes in winter, and we will be happy to share the family atmosphere on-site, by a campfire or fireplace, we will tell you about the contact of townspeople with everyday duties in a mountainous cottage and we will tell you about local cultural traditions.

Car

  • Our address: Soblówka 47A, Glinka, Beskid Mountains, Żywiec Beskid Mountains, Poland

  • Our settlement is located on the top of the Mały Smereków hamlet at an altitude of 690 m above sea level, where you enter from the town of Glinka. The entrance to our mountain hamlet is a short but winding asphalt road (if there is snow, a 4x4 drive is necessary and sometimes chains, or we can drive down to you). At the top, at the end of the road, before the fence of the last house on the right, there is an unpaved driveway to us (150 m). In case of uncertainty about the driveway (it may be slippery), we advise you to park at the top by the driveway, we can always help with things :) If you leave your car down in winter and want to drive somewhere during your stay, the walk from the house to the car is a 20-minute walk. Remember that the way back will be up the mountain :)

Gospodarz niezwykle ciepły i pomocny.

Go...

Rewelacyjne miejsce.

We wnętrzu zapach dre...
