At a glance

You'll recognize Villa Marianna by its vanilla-colored facade, half-timbered walls, and distinctive building shape. Before the war, it was a guesthouse, then a school, then the "Pod Wilkiem" restaurant, and finally a summer camp. In the 19th century, it was called Gasthoff zum Waldschloessel, housed an indoor bowling alley, and even had a beach with a café on the riverbank. Spa guests from Lądek-Zdrój loved to come here. When our parents bought the building, they completely renovated it. We expanded the space with additional rooms (we have 13 in total), a restaurant, banquet and breakfast room, a playground, a sports field, a spa, and a marquee for events. We have the entire family on site – us, our two sisters, our husbands, four children, two dogs, and as many cats. We invite you to stay in a family-run guesthouse with breakfast included, access to a sauna, hot tub, and a large green area. We especially warmly welcome cyclists, as we have master-level bikes. We know the trails, and we have storage, service, and maps. For those without their own two wheels, we offer bikes from our own MTB and E-MTB rental. We can organize tours and trips to bike parks for you, and afterward, we'll invite you for a massage and physiotherapy. We're the perfect base for active pursuits, in a region free from traffic jams, free from property developments, and free from housing developments. If that's what you need, we invite you like visiting good friends. We can ride together to the End of the World.

PS. We're back in a new guise after the flood, and we warmly invite you to Villa Marianna.

We are on-site, we give our guests space and intimacy, but we're always ready to help

We've been running Villa Marianna since 2007 – two married couples, four personalities, and four sets of skills. Everyone has their own area of expertise to manage. Jarek is a Chef with a capital A, having worked in top hotels for many years, so... he doesn't make "internet dishes"—he makes food, to which we owe a multitude of positive reviews. It's thanks to him that "family-style" doesn't mean "home-cooked, amateur-style" for us. Ania, Jarek's wife, makes sure the rooms are spotlessly clean, that everyone knows when they're supposed to be at work, and that no detail of your stay is left unattended. If something runs like clockwork, it's her watch. Przemek is bikes, bikes, bikes, and... the entire technical existence of the building, so only he knows where the hot water in the tap comes from and why the smart home system also requires a solid foundation in using a hammer and chisel. Marysia (that's me) brings chaos to the otherwise orderly lives of the rest. I'm a bit of a handyman, though: I handle marketing, grants, visions, missions, and so on. Someone has to figure out where it all goes—preferably someone who doesn't have to clean it up afterward. :) Sounds like a family business? Because we are. Except, for us, "family" doesn't mean "relaxed with quality." We combine two things that rarely go hand in hand: the feeling of being in a big house with friends—you can sit back however you like, no one's watching your back—and professionalism, which is evident in the details. Clean. On time. No "it'll work out somehow." Because for it to be truly enjoyable, someone has to be involved. In September 2024, the flood came. It took about 40% of the building and the part we spent years building. We could have given up. We didn't give up—we decided to reinvent Villa Marianna. And here begins the part where we need you. Marianna is changing with us—with who we are today, where we go, and what we love to do. Our place doesn't stand still, because we don't. We're writing this new chapter together with our guests. Without you, it would remain just a blank page. So if you're looking for a space where someone really puts in the effort, this is us. All four of us.

Świetne miejsce żeby odpocząć od miasta :) po trekingu można się zrelaksować w saunie, basenie, na hamaku. Bardzo dobre śniadania, urozmaicone i smaczne. Miło spędziliśmy tam czas, Polecam!
