At a glance
In the heart of the Śnieżnik Massif, on the slopes of Koci Grzbiet, overlooking Igliczna Mountain, we built the Slow Huts. We built them slowly, because although we love being on the move, we're in no hurry. Have you heard of friluftsliv? It's a Norwegian philosophy of outdoor living that has guided us for years. Happiness can mean something different to each nation, but for us, it's precisely contact with nature. This, along with the Scandinavian design of our huts, connects us with the Norwegians. We live in a small cottage here – don't be surprised by its austere exterior! Following the new trend in ecological architecture, to minimize CO₂ emissions, we decided to insulate the former koźmiernia building from the inside and leave the exterior made of cinder blocks. Our TV is a large window, where we watch a different nature program every day, inspiring us to plan activities for you.
We invite you to join us for a spring hunt for wild garlic, which we'll use to make macerates, autumn expeditions to the rutting grounds, and winter campfires in the snow, as well as making tea with raspberry sticks. We'll also prepare a slow-food breakfast basket with the unique flavors of the region. We search for them throughout the Kłodzko Valley. We invite you to our beech and spruce forest on a mountain slope. When you see the sign along the way: "Slow down and you'll catch the rhythm of life's path," you'll know you've arrived.
PS. In winter, just like in Norway, we invite you with snow chains.

Mania and Olek – friends from elementary school in Wrocław.
We are advocates of slow travel and slow tourism, and adorers of cycling. We've explored a large chunk of the world on two wheels. We've visited Australia, New Zealand, parts of Asia, and most of Europe. Along our long journey, we've met indigenous people with whom we've forged strong relationships. Contact with indigenous peoples from far and near corners of the world has opened our minds to the unique and truest motives for functioning on Earth. It's not the quantity, but the quality of experiences that have given us and continue to give us a sense of meaning and fulfillment. Being rooted in a specific time, place, and local community allows us to consciously explore the unknown. This is precisely what guides us when hosting those seeking authentic experiences. We are outdoor enthusiasts at any time of year.
