Lou-fudge could as well be a frosting, because the wooden house hidden among blooming cosmoses, other meadow and melliferous flowers, is charming and sweet. It can accommodate two people, or maybe four, because there is one bedroom downstairs and another on the mezzanine. I built the house from old, sandblasted boards, and covered its roof with 200-year-old slates from a barn that I had demolished myself. He crouched among meadows and pastures in the area where there used to be a border guard. Because Taszów is a village on the Polish-Czech border with a history dating back to the 15th century. It reminds me of Switzerland, perhaps hence the natural association with cows. There is a place here for curious people who can trace the past history of these lands, active people who will be happy to hear that a brand new asphalt bicycle path leads straight to the Czech Republic, mountaineers who can hit the trails of the Orlické Mountains and those who want laziness, because without sugarcoating, we have to I must admit that you can have a great rest here!

Lou-krówka is a cozy cottage located among meadows and pastures with a view of the Orlické Mountains.
The house has an area of 45 m² and consists of a living room with a fold-out sofa combined with a dining room and a kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed (not locked), a bathroom with a shower and a mezzanine with two single beds (accessed by stairs). Next to the house there is a recreation shelter with space for bicycles.

Taszów is a very quiet town with a history dating back to the 15th century. Few people live here on a daily basis and you can feel like you are at the end of the world.

The house is located on the site of a former border guard station (its building is behind the house). It is surrounded by a network of hiking and cycling trails on the Czech border.

Taszów is sleepy, peaceful and will appeal to those who are looking for peace and relaxation. Next to the house there are meadows and pastures where you can walk endlessly. And if you get tired, there is a shelter next to the house where you can relax.

The Orlickie Mountains, which are right under our noses, are the highest part of the Central Sudetes. Although there are more of them on the Czech side (Wielka Desztna), the highest peak of the Orlické Mountains is Orlica (inscribed in the Crown of Polish Mountains and the Crown of the Polish Sudetes). There is a quiet trail to the top, so even kids can do it. Moreover, it is worth going to Błędne Skały and seeing with your own eyes the peculiar sandstone formations, rock cities and labyrinths. You can also easily climb Szczeliniec and Radkowskie Skały with children. Did you know that the best coffee is served in the shelter in Szczeliniec Wielki and there you can also go down... to Hell?

Taszów is connected with the Czech Republic by an asphalt path (only for bicycles), where it is connected to numerous Czech loops. Two winter fatbikes are available, if you need others, let us know and we will arrange something.

The nearest walking routes that we recommend to you:
– red route (Main Sudetes Trail) leading from Kudowa to Zieleniec,
– the blue route leads from Przełęcz Lewińska to Homole Castle and Bukowy Stawek,
– green route through Kozia Hala to Droga Zakrętów.

If you are thinking about a trip, be sure to go to the Silesian Jerusalem, i.e. Wambierzyce, look for gold in the mine in Złoty Stok or enter the Chapel of Skulls in Kudowa-Zdrój.

Another great idea for visiting the Srebrna Góra Fortress, Bystrzyca Kłodzka and a tour of the spa towns, of which there are plenty here (Duszniki, Kudowa, Polanica, Długopole, Lądek)). The gems of the immediate vicinity are the Lewin railway viaduct built by Italian designers and the Japanese Garden in Jarków. You can go rafting in Bardo, and go to the Gorzanów Palace for numerous events organized there (check the calendar on their website).

Children may enjoy sleeping on the mezzanine, jumping over gaps on the way to Szczeliniec, getting lost among the surrounding grass and going on a trip to the Czech Republic on a border educational path.
