Hi, this is Bára and Vojta. Welcome to our Vejmink near the Small farm. If you think that we became landlords with the snap of a finger, we have to disappoint you. It was exactly the opposite. It all kind of came gradually. For example, also thanks to the fact that we wanted to know what we really eat and how things are really grown... In the end, we decided that we would exchange life in Prague (where we had everything on a golden platter and with rose-colored glasses) for life on a farm and we will be peasants. And in order to be self-sufficient, we started to plant flower beds, grow crops and gradually bought pets as roommates. :) All of course with respect for nature.

Our search for a farm lasted 2 years, and from the original search around Prague, we ended up in the south of Bohemia in the district of České Budějovice. Even the reconstruction was not a walk in the park, we could tell you that for a long time. But fortunately, we can now invite you to Vejminek, where you too can enjoy real village life with all its sounds and peaceful rhythm. Vejminek has a separate entrance and although we live next door, you will have privacy. We will be happy to invite you to a tour of the farm and, if you wish, you can also try how things work here. Or we can show you how to make friends with the tiled stove (during baking, cooking). Well, we are planning a bread baking demonstration in the future, so keep your fingers crossed for us.

Our cottage on the village square of the picturesque village of Lniště has been reconstructed as it should be - with preservation of the original elements and overall spirit. It is built mainly of stone and thanks to this it provides a pleasant coolness even on hot summer days, while in winter the stove will warm you.

VEJMINEK hides inside:
- 2 rooms (master bedroom with a double bed; the second room has two separate beds)
- kitchen with basic equipment and tiled stove
- bathroom with shower and toilet

In the smaller fenced yard there is a covered seating area with a fireplace and grill, a bicycle stand, a children's swing and a small sandpit.

The whole object is always only for you.
Parking is possible on the grass in front of the house.

The kitchen has a kitchen unit with basic equipment, a dining table and a tiled stove. Among the basic kitchen equipment you will find: a fridge with a small freezer, an electric kettle, a two-burner stove, an electric oven, a toaster and basic dishes.

We also offer the possibility of selling our seasonal surpluses (tomatoes, zucchini, eggs).

And if you want travel tips, here they are:
- natural monument Ďáblík, Buškův Hamr, church of the Holy Trinity and the town of Trhové Sviny (all within walking distance).
Buškův Hamr is a functional technical monument with the possibility of tours and refreshments (beer, limo, sausage from the chimney, grilled ermine, popsicles).
Trhové Sviny serves as a starting point for many educational trails and cycle routes, and there is a tourist information center with e-bike rental.

- within a driving distance of up to 30 km there are places of tourist interest such as Třeboň, Český Krumlov, České Budějovice, Nové Hrady, Terčino údolí and many others.

- swimming opportunities in the vicinity: Lazna Borovany natural swimming pool, Horní Stropnice summer swimming pool, Dobrkovská Lhotka pond and Besednice natural swimming pool. In the more distant surroundings you can find, for example, the Třeboň sand pits and the Sole-Felsen-Bad sauna world in Gmünd, Austria.

The area is located in the foothills of the Novohradské and Slepiče mountains, like our little Šumava without people. The Žofín Forest with its untouched nature is worth mentioning.

For small children we have: a travel cot, a dining chair, a potty, a bath and a step. Just let us know in advance and we will prepare everything for you free of charge.
We have excellent baby quality water.
Older children can play publicly accessible table tennis in the village near Vejminek.
