Let's start with this: Białasówka isn't for everyone. I'll explain why. The (delicious!) water, which you'll have to draw yourself, comes from a well, you have to walk a few dozen meters to the (charming) outhouse, and the heart of the house is the tiled kitchen. You might find this too much for you. Or maybe, like many previous guests, you'll say that's precisely what's best here. Because when you have to work a little harder to ensure your comfort, there's no time for racing thoughts, and your days take on a soothing rhythm. In Białasówka, luxury has an older name – it's not a hot tub with a jacuzzi and a TV with Netflix, but silence, the omnipresent forest, and the simplicity of daily routines. This homestead has been in my family for over 50 years, and many generations have rested here, in harmony with small rituals and the cycles of nature. The nearest paved road begins 3 km from here, 1 km further lies the border of Polesie National Park, and only a handful of people live in our forest settlement. If you too would like to spend a few days deep in the forest and embark on a true journey through time, I invite you with open arms.

The house is nearly 100 m² and comfortably accommodates four people: the bedroom has a double bed, and the spacious living room has a double bed and a fold-out sofa. Two additional guests can sleep there, but it might be a bit tight – the sofa bed is 120 cm wide when folded out.

The house also features a bathing area with a bathtub, where you can preheat water on the stove in the kitchen.

In winter, the house is heated by tiled stoves and a fireplace.

The entire estate covers nearly 2.5 hectares and is at your exclusive disposal. Here, you'll find a fire pit, hammocks, an outdoor breakfast table, and a bathing area with a garden tub and a summer shower overlooking the forest.

On rainy days, you can relax with a book by the fireplace or play board games on the spacious, glass-enclosed veranda.

The kitchen at Białasówka is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals. Of course, the best meals are those prepared over the open fire of the stove. The tiled stove's oven produces delicious breads and cakes.

Polesie has much to offer – from the fantastic nature trails of Polesie National Park to Orthodox churches, forgotten Jewish cemeteries, and, a little further afield, near Włodawa, the Sobibór Museum.

There are several lakes in the area, both small and intimate and larger, commercial ones.

There are also places where you can enjoy horseback riding and kayaking on the Bug River.

In autumn, our forests are rich in mushrooms, deer come out for rutting, and you can see crane roosts.
