There are 113 towns in Poland called Zalesie. So if you mean some Zalesie, there is a high probability that it is not ours. Find us southwest of Białystok, 25 km from the colorful shutters of Plutycze and 22 km below Łapy. Statistics say that the population of our Zalesie is 131 people, so there is no denying that it is a small village. However, it was here that we found the larch cottage that we wanted to renovate. We uncovered beautiful boards, refreshed the tiled stove, put granny wallpapers on the walls and created a bathroom with all modern amenities.

Now we can share with you our cottage for a country vacation with nothing to do. For a couple or a four-person group, necessarily with pets. You can go for a walk through the fields, you can go to the Inn for a fancy dinner, you can lie on a deckchair and listen to the cranes. Village cats are running around the yard and birds are eating on the veranda. We invite you to the countryside, to Zalesie 53.

In a wooden house that has undergone a well-deserved facelift. The house is designed for 2-4 people. We dusted off the fibreboards and exposed the wood. We restored the cottage to its former glory and furnished it in grandma's style. It is cosy and warm.

This warmth is provided by the tiled stove in the kitchen. You can warm up by it, cook on it, dry mushrooms over it.

There is also:
- a modern kitchen with a dishwasher,
- a living room with a sofa bed,
- a table for shared meals,
- a corner for remote work,
- a bedroom with a double bed and a small cot for children behind double doors,
- a bathroom with a quite modern shower.

We recommend quiet walks through the village and across the fields. Bike trips and more demanding rides around the area (take your bikes).

Pop out to Bielsk Podlaski - this is where the 1982 "Zachor" was filmed. You can also see the fabulous blue Orthodox church here, and nearby you can visit the Smulski Manor in Hołowiesko.

We also recommend (by bike or car) going to the village of Plutycze, which lies on the Open Shutters trail.

For a big hunger and shopping, we recommend Gospoda Ziemia Brańska - you can eat deliciously and make really good supplies for later. You can do your shopping at the Gospoda - local preserves, delicatessen, alcohol, baked goods.

Of course, you can also pop out to Białystok, Supraśl (and there you definitely have to go to the Museum of Icons) and to the Bison Show Farm in the Supraśl Forest District.

There is a corner with a desk and a comfortable armchair right next to the stove. So working with cold feet is no threat to you. You can sit down, listen to music from an old radio and work in peace.
