Welcome, I'm Dušan and this is my barn. My little-big dream that became reality. But it's best if I start from the end...

After three years, I'm finally not struggling in the mud. I have a beautiful wooden terrace, a repaired roof above my head, and a place for my soul where it is intrinsically good. I also have behind me 7 tons of special remedial mixtures used to fill the gaps between the stones after the manually raked clay. In addition, a ventilated and insulated floor and custom-made and refurbished furniture by myself. When I found the barn, the 100 years that had passed in its pitiful condition were immediately visible, but I didn't mind. Where would anyone pat themselves on the forehead, what the hell did I think up, to reconstruct such a crumbling old thing. But to me it was as clear as the sun overhead. And today I can declare that something like this will test and harden you more than any stay in the wilderness :)

Thanks to all of this, today I can invite you to the village of Počúvadlo, where my Barn and carving workshop are hidden in the middle of the green thicket, where I will gladly teach you this craft...

You can find the barn in the village of Počúvadlo, in Štiavnické vrchy. So you won't have a shortage of hiking trails here. And you will only have 6 kilometers to the taich with the same name.

BARN INTERIOR

- bathroom with shower and toilet, where the old butcher's table got a second chance at life
- the stairs to the upper floor, under which there is a practical storage space - here the boards from the barn floor, where hay was once stored, came to life for the second time
- in the attic there is a bedroom with a double bed and a separate bathtub in an open space (such a wellness in a loft ;). Yes, I also revived this bathtub with my own hands, gave it a new look, and it stands on oak scraps that remained after the renovation.

MY WORKSHOP

For me, the workshop is the place where the most original things are created. It is a place without limits in the imagination and creativity that is in each of us. So if at any time the thought that you would like to create something with your own hands has crossed your mind, here you can. And that directly under my supervision. I will introduce you to the secrets of the carving technique of incising. Experience is not necessary and the approach is guaranteed to be individual. (Or if you want, try it online as well - it's not as complicated as it might seem.)

APITHERAPY

Have you ever laid in a space saturated with healthy beehive air? Of course, all with the safety of you and the bees. If you have not yet tried this rare therapy, I recommend it to you in a neighborhood way, at our friend the beekeeper Marián Holub in the Bee Hotel.
