We love looking at the world from the top of the mountain where we created our nomadic settlement. For over 500 years, people have settled in the local valleys because it is sometimes windy at the heights. We like these gusts because they take away what is unnecessary and bring new things. They activate the sounds of our wind chimes, which create vibrations that resonate with the cosmic Om, the heart chakra and the blue-green color that dominates around us. We have a spectacular panorama here, reaching from Wysokie Dział, through Łopiennik, Smerek, Połonina Wetlińska to Połonina Caryńska. We admire it every day, and in the evenings we admire the stars and look for the northern lights.
Reality brings us down to earth. We start each day by feeding our herd and cleaning up poop. Together with four horses, two goats, a dog and a cat, we moved from the Kampinos Forest to the wild mountains. We have created a haven here for them, for us and for you - if, like us, you value proximity to nature and mountain trails. You can traverse them with Jakub - a licensed mountain guide, encountering the tracks of a bison, a bear, and maybe even a wolf along the way.
Even though we are constantly drawn to the unknown, we love coming back here. To the land of kindness, where every person is greeted with a smile. This is how we were welcomed here and this is how we will welcome you.
We welcome you to the top of a mountain, located on the border of the Bieszczady Mountains and the Low Beskids, from where you will have a beautiful view of the meadows and our grazing horses and goats.
Inside the 100-meter house you will find:
- on the ground floor: a spacious living room with a fireplace, a bookcase, a sofa bed and a table, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower,
- on the first floor: two triple bedrooms (each with a double and a single bed).
In addition, a large terrace with a table and deckchairs, from which there is a view of the mountains, the pasture and our small vineyard.
The house is air-conditioned, so you can cool it or heat it in a few minutes. There is also a fireplace with a supply of wood in the living room, and underfloor heating in the bathroom. There are electric heaters in both bedrooms.
We live in the house next door, so if you need anything, let us know. Neighbors are building next door to us. The construction is not inconvenient, but it is visible from the entrance, so we are letting you know about it.
We value peace and quiet. We have 4 horses, 2 goats, a cat and a dog living with us. All of our animals have been through a lot, and our priority is to provide them with peace, which is why we do not agree to throw parties at our place. You can also rent two bikes from us.
In the kitchen you will find a large fridge with a 3-compartment freezer, a microwave with grill function and an electric hob. There is also cutlery, tableware, cups, glasses, wine glasses and an opener, kitchen knives, scissors, a full set of pots, two frying pans, and four cutting boards. There is also a filter coffee machine and filters, ground and instant coffee, several types of tea and an electric kettle.
The nearest shop is 1.5 km away and the supermarket is 5 km away. It is possible to order food for delivery (we will share the details).
Welcome to the Bukowski Foothills, with a fabulous view of the Bieszczady Mountains (from Wysoki Dział, through Łopiennik, Smerek, Połonina Wetlińska to Połonina Caryńska), which you will enjoy from the terrace and the interior of the house, which we created for a peaceful, regenerating rest for adults and teenagers .
In the morning you will hear the neighing of horses, and at dusk you will be accompanied by the hooting of owls. Bisons, bears and wolves live in the area, maybe you will be able to spot them, and if not, you will come across their traces. You'll enjoy the starry sky as part of your package, and maybe you'll also be able to see the Northern Lights (we did).
