It is hidden in a beautiful, old forest. Thirty meters from the Narew River and about 20 km from the outskirts of Warsaw. It was built in the 1980s, then fell into disrepair, but we took care of the surrounding garden and its interiors. We have fully renovated three floors of the house with a covered terrace, two bedrooms and a space to celebrate important moments. We have always liked to stay here, because the aura of peace and harmony that reigns here allows not only for a good rest, but also for spending time together. Today, we open the thresholds of the Brda River, which can certainly accommodate 6, but also 10 people, to you. We invite you to relax in the company of the rustle of pine trees, to gaze at the soothing current of the river, to walk in search of traces of old stories and to build your own. We hope that our place will become a space for you to relax, a break from everyday life and a background for celebrating important moments.
The cottage is a typical Brda, which we remember from children's colonies, although the standard is completely different. Ours has been renovated and refurbished. We have furnished it in a nautical style and have taken care of every detail.
The first floor above ground is a garage and a garden toilet (entrance from the back of the cottage). The second floor above ground is a toilet, living room (dining table, fireplace, TV corner, sofa bed for 2 people) with a kitchen and exit to the covered terrace. From the front of the cottage, this level seems to be the ground floor. In addition, there is another floor with two bedrooms and a separate work area with a beautiful view of the forest.
On site you will find a fully equipped kitchenette. Of the most important things: we have an automatic coffee machine and a pan for scrambled eggs. For more demanding palates, there is also something. We can also offer help in organizing meals from a local restaurant.
Our Zegrze Corner is fantastic not only for those looking for peace, quiet and wanting to find inspiration in nature, but also for those who like to spend their days with friends. A large terrace and a piece of the garden have been tested many times as a place for larger meetings or smaller outdoor events, especially birthdays or hen parties. We are open to organizing them with us. A jacuzzi awaits you on site, included in the price of your stay.
In Skubianka there is a walking path by the water, there is also a small port for boats. During the walk, you can take a look at abandoned PRL recreation centers, and in the village itself see several ruins that have seen better times.
We recommend taking binoculars with you, because the nearby Narew floodplains are a nature reserve for many species of birds, especially white and grey herons and swans. And white-tailed eagles live in the nearby forest, maybe you will manage to spot them too.
Where can you go while staying with us?
– a trip to the Modlin Fortress, where you can enter the citadel, two rings of the fort and the fortified suburbs,
– a 5-minute drive from us is the Aqua Park and SPA Warszawianka,
– in the summer it is worth going on a kayaking trip (rentals are in Pomiechówek),
– riverside beaches – Pomiechówek beach, Waliszewo beach, recreational complex with a Pomiechowo beach, Pomiechowo Łąka beach.
What’s there for children?
The entire area around the cottage is a great place for the youngest to play. Nearby are playgrounds, basketball and football pitches, as well as running and cycling routes. This is a typical rural, riverside area with a wide range of additional services such as rental of water bikes, kayaks, boats, scooters, etc.
What’s there for employees?
We have a dedicated space with a desk for work, and our home network is connected to fiber optics, so despite being in the middle of nowhere, you will always be able to call in to a meeting.
