In Sosnówka, on the border of the Karkonosze Foothills and the Jelenia Góra Valley, between the Kazalnica, Skiba and Grabowiec peaks and with a view of the reservoir, there is a 60-meter-long house for a couple or four people. In its open interiors it has: a living room with a fireplace connected to a kitchenette and a dining area, a bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a bathtub on the mezzanine. There is also a separate room with a fold-out sofa and a work desk. There is a terrace outside, and the list of amenities includes: a sauna and a barrel with cold water to cool down after the sessions.

You can spend afternoons reading a book on the terrace, have a barbecue in the afternoons, warm up in the sauna in the evenings, cool off in a barrel and walk around the area. Our cottage is an ideal base for getting to know Lower Silesia better - with its atmosphere, historic architecture, landscapes with therapeutic properties and colorful inhabitants with extraordinary stories. You will be close to Jelenia Góra (12 km), Karpacz (9.5 km) and Szklarska Poręba (20 km). Jelenia Góra – a colorful market square with pastel tenement houses, charming pubs and BWA in one of the side streets, – The Karkonosze Museum, where you will see an exhibition devoted to the history of the city, artistic glass, or visit the Jelenia Góra cottage from the Trans. 18th and 19th centuries, – Baroque Garrison Church from the 18th century, modeled on a certain church in Stockholm, with rich interiors and interesting architecture, – important events: summer Street Theater Festival, the largest antique park in Poland: Jelenia Góra Antiques and Curiosities Fair, Pestka International Festival of Avant-garde Theaters. Museums – Karkonosze Secrets in Karpacz – an interactive exhibition during which you can learn about the Karkonosze legends and the fascinating history of the local lands – will be a great adventure for children, – Gerhart Hauptmann's house in Jagniątkowo - the house of the German Nobel Prize winner from 1912 houses not only a museum about his life, but also an interesting cultural and literary institution, and if that's not enough for you, be sure to visit this villa because of its amazing interiors covered with colorful frescoes. Prince Henry's Castle 10 min. a car trip from here there is a castle (actually a castle), which not only looks like from a fairy tale, but also offers an amazing view of the panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains. A few years ago, an enthusiast took it under his care and renovated it. It is open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from May to October; in other months, reservations are required by phone. Miedzianka Anyone who has read Filip Springer's reportage about the disappearing town is well aware of the story of Miedzianka. We encourage everyone else to read, and in the meantime, visit the Miedzianka Brewery, where you can drink local beer on the terrace with a view. Lucni bouda This is already in the Czech Republic, but we guarantee that it is worth crossing the border and visiting this place. Luční bouda is the highest situated brewery (at 1,410 m above sea level) in the Czech Republic, connected to a hotel and restaurant. There used to be a mountain shelter here. The views around are amazing. Mountains There are 2 scales leading through Sosnówka. Czarny to Cascade Myi, and from there to Przesieka, Jagniątkowo or Przełęcz Karkonoska. Yellow to St. Anne's Chapel, then to Karpacz and mountain shelters (Strzecha Akademicka, Samotnia, nad Łomniczka, Dom Śląski). For beginner hikers, we recommend Rudawy Janowickie, for more advanced hikers, we recommend the Jizera and Kaczawskie Mountains, and for keen hikers, we recommend the Karkonosze Mountains. Valley of Palaces and Gardens in the Jelenia Góra Valley It starts a few kilometers from here. On almost 100 km² there are approximately 30 castles, Renaissance manors, Baroque palaces and residential towers. Some of them are just ruins, others are restored and ready to be visited. This is our Polish Loire Valley.
