It's chill here. And the forest. And 115 meters to the lake. Here is a house that once wasn't charming at all. But we had a great time there and that was enough for us at the beginning. After some time, we looked at it differently and decided that it should be as beautiful as from Pinterest. That's why today it charms with its Provençal interior, which tells many stories. About the skillful work of craftsmen from the Wajnman Brothers factory, creating metal beds. We had to weld them to make them long and wide enough. About a family from the Grodno region whose house and barn were built from the boards used to create our tables. You can play board games there, feast and talk for hours. Because no one is in a hurry here, but everyone listens to the rustle of the trees in the surrounding forest and the loud singing of birds. Nothing stops you from drinking coffee on a swing in your pajamas, walking to the lake in flip-flops and sailing from the pier to Augustów. Or stay in a forest clearing and wander from the hammock to the deckchair, from the deckchair to the hot tub, and from its waters to the crackling fireplace. Simple pleasures. It's here.
In the forest, away from the road, very close to the lake shore. In a forest clearing, in a separate housing estate of summer houses. This is where our house is located. An extension of the natural surroundings, harmonizing with the lush greenery and the picturesque view of Studzieniczne Lake. There are no accidental things here, and every corner has been designed to please your eyes and give you pleasure. Just like it has been doing to us for many years.
On the first floor you will find 4 bedrooms (three bedrooms have double beds measuring 140x200 cm, the fourth has two single beds 90x200). On the ground floor there are: a living room with a kitchen connected to the dining room and a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower wall.
The house is less than 150 m² and has refined Provençal-style interiors. Outside there are two terraces where you can take a nap, enjoy coffee, play board games, feast and talk for hours. They have separate parts - dining and lounge. Right next to one of the terraces there is a wood-burning hot tub.
A 100-meter long, separate path leads to Lake Studziennicze. There is a sandy beach and a large pier where our boat moors. We can also rent you bicycles (and a trailer), SUPs and a pedal boat (for an additional fee).
You will be surrounded by the Augustów Lake District with many lakes and the Augustowska Forest, which means that we also have plenty of forests. Surrounded by one of them, in a clearing, stands our house designed for chilling. We have here for you: two terraces where you can enjoy delicious feasts, a tub, hammocks, a fireplace and at least a few places to sit in the garden. You will be able to rent from us: a boat with oars, 2 SUP boards, a pedal boat (6-seater), 4 bicycles and one trailer for children (equipment rental is additionally paid).
A separate, 100-meter path will lead you to an intimate, sandy beach and a pier on Lake Studzieniczne. 1.5 km from us there is the Patelnia beach, which owes its name to its location on a slope, which makes it very sunny. Next to the slope of Patelnia you will find several beaches with extremely shallow shores, great for children and providing comfort for their guardians.
On the former island, now connected to the mainland by a causeway, there is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Studzieńczańska. Studzieniczne Lake is located on the Augustów Canal route. In the east, a several hundred-meter long section of the canal flows out of the lake, leading to the Swoboda lock. In the west, through the Przewięź lock, the lake is connected to Lake Biały Augustowskie. By setting off on a boat or pedal boat trip from our pier, you can reach Augustów itself (but be sure to check the locking hours). If you get hungry earlier, there are two seasonal restaurants on the Studzieniczne bank.
You can reach Przewięź, where there is a lock on the Augustów Canal connecting the Studzieniczne lakes (the Brzozowy Grąd island reserve) with Biały Augustowski, via a forest and asphalt road. There are shops and restaurants there.
Augustowska Forest means countless kilometers of hiking and cycling paths. It is worth going for a walk along wolf tracks (the "Wolf Trail" path, which is one of the eight points of the "Wolf Trail") and visiting the educational paths of the Wigry National Park. You can also go rafting down the Czarna Hańcza, Marycha, Rospuda, or go to the Perkuć Nature Reserve and absorb chlorophyll there without limits. For those interested, a trip on the Wigry Narrow Gauge Railway.
The proximity of the Lithuanian border encourages you to check out what's interesting about your neighbors. In Lithuania, you cannot miss the Trakai Castle and take advantage of the huge swimming pool complex in Druskininkai, one of the largest in Europe. A little closer, in Suwałki, there is an aqua park with swimming pools, slides and saunas.
What’s there for children?
Water and sand are what children usually need and it is completely enough. Little ones can swim with their parents on a water bike, older kids can try their hand at rowing a boat or swimming on a SUP. The most active people will enjoy the nearby attraction - the rope park.
