Amazing things happen in the forest, which are worth experiencing and witnessing. If you agree with the above statement, there is a good chance that we will reach an agreement. Since the house in Wilga appeared in our family, the forest has become a source of inspiration, solace and joy for us.
One of the reasons we created Przystanek Wilga was a strong need for conscious togetherness, an escape from everyday life and the hustle and bustle of the city. However, to be honest, Przystanek Wilga is primarily the result of Agata's longing for a carefree childhood, wonderful holidays in the countryside with Grandma, peace and quiet with Summer with the Radio playing in the background. Maciek, on the other hand, for peace and quiet (a happy wife means a happy home). We wanted to create a place that would fit into the surroundings, and the surroundings would accept it with sympathy. And I think we succeeded, because the forest is visible from every point of the house and almost invades the interior. If you want to relax in interiors filled with design, commune with the forest, use the 2,500 m² plot and socialize, we invite you. We are only 1 hour from Warsaw, in a forest estate called Wilga, whose atmosphere is inimitable.
We invite you to an 85-meter house for exclusive use, located on a forest plot (2,500 m² of private forest).

We recommend two places with a clear conscience:
https://www.uaniolow.pl/ (delivery is also possible)
At the U Aniołów restaurant you can eat delicious home-cooked meals, e.g. pierogi. There is also a grocery store next to the restaurant, where you will find a wide selection of baked goods made on site, smoked fish, homemade cold cuts, craft beer, but also ready-made dishes, e.g. homemade soups in jars.
https://www.facebook.com/BarDinoziolek/
The iconic Dinoziółek bar is famous for its plate-sized pork chops.
In the summer season, on Saturdays, Mrs. Agnieszka from "Sery Zagrodowe" sells her products from her car opposite Aniołów. They are also available all year round at the U Aniołów store.
We also recommend bread from the Baranowski bakery in Wilga, ul. Wiślana.
Note! The store next to the bakery is only open on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 15:30–21:00, sometimes on Thursday evenings. The long fingers with poppy seeds and the bread from the baking sheet with a crispy crust are exceptionally tasty.
Maybe you will, but sometimes you also have to get bored.
Time spent in the forest is a great opportunity to establish closer relationships, provide new experiences and develop curiosity and creativity. The forest environment stimulates the senses, reduces stress and allows for healthy, active rest. The forest is a real treasure trove of experiences. Unforgettable moments full of joy, laughter and fun together await you there!
Thanks to active adventures in the forest:
- Children will develop their imagination, creativity and practical skills.
- Adults will break away from everyday worries, relax and strengthen family ties.
- You will all discover the beauty of nature together and learn to respect it.
Wilga, a summer resort near two rivers, has a very, very peaceful character. The forest is so dense, and the houses and cottages are scattered at such distances that you can count on complete peace here.
We recommend that you explore the area on walks. You can go to the Wilga River or to the Vistula backwaters. It is very pleasant to have a picnic there. You can't count on swimming in the winding Vistula River. It's also worth taking a walk to the Żabiecieckie meadows - it's a huge, empty space with beautiful views, especially in the summer.
There are a lot of orchards in the area. In late summer and autumn, the branches bend with apples and you can often hunt some on a bike ride.
We have a local swimming spot here, Morskie Oko. In winter, it's the favorite place of local walruses, so if you like similar experiences, you can ask around and freeze together.
History and military enthusiasts may be interested in the fact that there are remains of trenches from World War II in the area. A crossing of the Vistula River took place nearby and the army was stationed here. On the way to Morskie Oko, there is a sapper monument and a small military open-air museum, the so-called cannons.
What’s there for children?
Ideas for family activities in the forest:
- Tracking expeditions - look for traces and signs of animal presence, identify prints, nests, etc.
- Playing with nature - collect colorful leaves, flowers, create collections or artistic compositions.
- Skill competitions - orienteering runs, root jumping, climbing stumps.
- Forest hunting - observe insects, birds, mammals, try to spot them, imitate their sounds.
- Forest workshops - create figurines, masks or instruments from natural materials.
- Picnics and bonfires - enjoy forest flavors, roast sausages, sing songs.
- Night hikes - learn what true darkness means. Take a flashlight, compass and set off.
- Competition to see who can hit a pine cone or twig the furthest. Prize for the champion - a crown of leaves!
– Create your own obstacle course – jump over roots, squeeze under branches, climb on stumps.
– Organize a competition for the most interesting leaf, moss or insect. Prize – the title of "King/Queen of the Forest"!
In a house with a fireplace:
– Create a shadow theater against the background of flames – create characters from hands, twigs or pebbles.
– Make up a story about the adventures of forest creatures, each one will add another part.
– Organize a competition to see who can create the most interesting structure from twigs, pine cones and pebbles.
Regardless of what you choose, the important thing is to have fun together, laugh and spend time in the bosom of nature! The forest and a cozy fireplace provide plenty of opportunities for joint fun.
What’s there for employees?
There is WiFi in the house. If you need to work during your stay, you can do so. However, we warn you right away that the place is not conducive to work. This is where the "vacation" mode comes into play. We have experienced this first-hand.
