Quick check

Do you ever get completely lost in something you do with passion? To derive joy and satisfaction from the activity itself, not the goal? This is ikigai - the Japanese philosophy of happiness, which suggests that we should look for pleasure and meaning in what we are doing at a given moment, without expecting spectacular results or applause. It is she who sanctions all those projects that we sometimes think about "without sense": novels written in a drawer and paintings that no one will see. What counts is the here and now. Our ikigai was to create a little Asia in the Greater Poland countryside. We renovated the house ourselves, in which almost everything was made with our hands: from the wardrobe to the decorations. However, our work had a clear goal - we wanted to make our guests travel to the Far East through their visit here. We traveled there for a long time, and Joanna had the opportunity to live in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Thailand for 10 years. So you must believe that he has the climate and philosophy of Asia at his fingertips. Perhaps our habitat will help you discover your own ikigai?

Sometimes we are on-site, sometimes we're not

Hi! This is Joanna and Mateusz. We love traveling, upcycling, woodworking and gardening, art (we also create a lot ourselves), cooking, psychology and books... and we can go on and on. Always busy with a new project :) We dreamed of returning from big cities to a quiet, idyllic countryside, but we missed Asia. So we created little Asia. :) And now we want to share it with others. Our life, as well as our place, is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of "ichi-go ichi-e", which reminds us that every moment of meeting is one of a kind and unique. We want everyone who visits us to feel special and be able to find peace and inspiration.
