Recently we observed a deer swimming on the lake. We both come from Augustów and we think that the natural surroundings here are exceptionally charming, but we didn't think that nature could surprise us. That's why we equipped our wooden house with binoculars and a telescope so that you won't miss any of its wonders. We also took care of the comfort of two bedrooms, a terrace with a stunning view of the water and a boat to sail out onto it. We invite you to the house, which is officially located within the borders of Augustów, but has nothing to do with the hustle and bustle of tourists. There used to be a village here called Sajenek, the name and the rural atmosphere remain. In addition to Lake Sajno, we also have lakes Sajenek and Sajenko. The root sai- comes from the Jatvin language and means a current, a river. We also have a river here, its name is Sajownica. You can awaken or develop your ornithological passion with us, visit all the surrounding still and flowing waters and hide in the Augustów Forest. You can find peace in it.

A house with a view of Lake Sajenko and a large terrace. The living room has a comfortable sofa, a fireplace and a table, and next to it there is a kitchenette. On the first floor there are two bedrooms - a larger one with a double bed and a smaller one with two single beds.

We have access to the lake and a boat, and a small playground for children in the garden.

Although Sajenek is located within the borders of Augustów, we are away from the hustle and bustle. You will enjoy silence and a beautiful view of the lake here.

Welcome to Sajenek, once a village, today the administrative part of Augustów, the center of which is approximately 8 km away from us in a straight line. Sajenek is picturesquely located on the eastern shore of Lake Sajno and around lakes Sajenek and Sajenko. You will have a view of the latter from the windows and terrace of our wooden house.

Our greatest attraction is the overwhelming peace. We are located in a Natura 2000 area (Ostoja Augustowska), our neighbors are animals that can be observed through binoculars. We managed to see a deer swimming. On the other side of the lake there is a hermit's cottage and the Stara Ruda nature reserve. In the house we have binoculars for bird watching and a telescope for looking at the night sky.

We have access to the lake and a boat that will be at your disposal. The nearest beach is 5 minutes away by car at Lake Sajno.

Go to see Ślepe Jeziorka, these are very charming, small and overgrowing water reservoirs called suchary. They lie in a winding basin that was probably once flooded by one large lake.

The Green Velo bicycle route, the Na Kozi Rynek trail and the White Eagle Trail run through Sajenek. If you can, take your bikes with you. We also have a yellow hiking trail from Lake Sajno.

The Augustowska Forest, which stretches nearby, has countless kilometers of hiking and cycling paths. It is worth going for a walk in wolf tracks (the Wolf Trail path, which is one of the eight points of the Wolf Trail) and visiting the educational paths of the Wigry National Park. You can also go rafting down the Czarna Hańcza, Marycha, Rospuda, or go to the Perkuć Nature Reserve and absorb chlorophyll there without limits. The proximity of the Lithuanian border encourages you to check out what's interesting about your neighbors. In Lithuania, you cannot miss the Trakai Castle and take advantage of the huge swimming pool complex in Druskininkai, one of the largest in Europe. A little closer, in Suwałki, there is an aqua park with swimming pools, slides and saunas.

Children have a small playground in the garden and a drawer full of art supplies in the house.
