Here we have a sky where you can count all the stars, a forest surrounding us from every side of the world and a solitude that many an overstimulated city dweller fantasizes about. Anyone who ventures into the forest will discover a modern house designed for us by a young architect who normally works in New York. The builders who settled in a hamlet in the middle of an ancient forest long ago would certainly not have expected it here. Today, only 4 families live in the Augustów Forest settlement. We are wildly lucky that our picturesque plot of land is also here, where we invite you to forget about the whole world. For bicycle trips in the forest, kayaking trips down the Biebrza, discovering fabulous Easter eggs in Lipsk. For doing nothing and doing everything that the magical Suwałki Region inspires you to do.

Ewa and Michał. We are two city dwellers with advanced cravings for everything wild and rural, especially if it is located in the Suwałki region, a magical and somewhat forgotten land. After many searches and ideas such as moving an old Suwałki cottage to our own piece of land, we decided that we would like something different and this is exactly the place we created together. Modern, but surrounded by primeval forest. It is different from all others.

Other rules

  • 1. Hours of stay - other than those indicated in the Rental Agreement are possible only after acceptance by the Landlord.
    2. Keys - the house keys are handed over/collected to the Tenant on site. The Landlord may refuse to hand over the keys to the house if the Tenant does not have a document confirming his/her identity or behaves aggressively or is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In case of loss of keys, the Tenant will be charged with the costs of replacing the lock cylinder or padlock.
    3. Number of people authorized to use the Real Estate - if the Landlord is not informed about the number of people using the Real Estate greater than that resulting from the Agreement or if the Landlord does not consent to the stay of more people than that resulting from the Agreement, the Landlord may require the Tenant to immediately leave the Property and unauthorized persons.
    4. Waste segregation - The Tenant is obliged to comply with the principles of waste segregation. In the absence of segregation, the Tenant may be charged with a payment taken from the deposit due to the need to segregate his waste.
    5. Burning bonfires - The Tenant is obliged to comply with prohibitions of public administration bodies and services regarding periodic bans on burning bonfires, if any are in force during the rental period. Penalties imposed in connection with failure to comply with the ban are paid by the Tenant. During the period when bonfires are allowed, the Tenant will use only the designated place for this purpose.
    6. Using the so-called wood stove "kozy" - it is prohibited to smoke products in the "kozy" other than those recommended by the Landlord. Compliance with fire regulations during the rental period belongs to the Tenant. Consequences of non-compliance with fire regulations. are charged in full to the Tenant. The stove should be lit and extinguished in accordance with the instructions placed in the house or sent to the Tenant electronically.
    7. Use of the grill - it is strictly prohibited to use the grill on a wooden terrace or at a distance of less than 2 meters from wooden walls.
    8. Stay with an animal (Does not apply to cats) - in the case of staying with an animal, the Tenant is obliged to clean up the Property after the animal before leaving it. If excessive mess is left as a result of the presence of an animal inside the house and on the property, the Tenant may be charged an amount for additional cleaning, which will be deducted from the deposit.
    9. Renting or leaving the Property - for safety reasons, each time the Tenant leaves the house, he or she should turn off the lights, turn off the taps, make sure that the wood stove door is tightly closed and that the stove is turned off, and lock the windows and doors. The return of the keys after the end of the stay must be agreed with the Landlord each time.
    10. Return of the deposit - The deposit is returned to the Tenant to the bank account indicated by him. The Landlord has up to 5 days from the date of handover of the Property by the Tenant to assess any possible damage and return the deposit. If the tenant returns the property dirty or damaged or with damaged equipment (not applicable to the situation of proper use for residential purposes), the deposit will not be returned to the tenant due to the need to cover damage resulting from the use of the property inconsistent with the contract, as well as the tenant's negligence or omission. reduced accordingly.
    11. The Tenant acknowledges that:
    a) Special occasions such as hen and stag parties cannot be organized on the premises of the Property without the consent of the Landlord. In the event of breaking the ban, the Landlord will demand to leave the Property immediately, without refund of the unused amount for the stay along with the deposit.
    b) Their legal guardians are responsible for the safety of minors while staying on the Property,
    c) Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house (a notification system has been installed).
    12. The Tenant signs a short-term rental agreement with the Landlord.
