At a glance
Halfway between Świętajno and Szczytno lies Jerutki. Our homestead lies there, completely off the beaten track, yet overlooking a clearing. Herds of deer stroll through it at dusk, and during the season, loudly squawking cranes stroll through. Here, you'll enjoy listening to bird songs, communing with the lush, fresh greenery, snacking on wild strawberries from the forest, and pedaling along the paths around the lakes. The nearest one, called Marskoby, is only 10 minutes away. And bicycles are waiting for you on site. As are four cottages made of hewn pine logs, named after their colors: Green, Brown, Blue, and Beige. We imported one from Kazimierz Dolny, and another from the vicinity of Ivano-Frankivsk. All this to ensure the homestead has wooden architecture that blends seamlessly with the landscape. We've built a range of fun activities into your stay, especially for families, as children have plenty of freedom and ideas for how to spend their time. The area is also pleasant, filled with lakes, trails, and nestled against the Piska Forest. There's nothing left to do but visit us.

It started innocently.....
A typical weekend in Masuria with friends among lakes and forests. We receive an offer to purchase a plot of land. Why not ! We buy! Another trip, another rest, during which the car broke down. The local who came to our aid turned out to be a carpenter and, while repairing it, suggested building an old log cabin. All of us. An impulse and it happens. Life doesn't like emptiness. After a year, we have our first dream house in the countryside.
The pandemic was fast approaching. Stress, anger, powerlessness, uncertainty - these emotions accompanied us and many people around the world. We spend most of our time in Jerutki, away from large agglomerations. Working and teaching remotely. A month passes, then another. Despite the crisis situation, we feel a big positive change. As a family, we have much more time for ourselves, and the place where we live gives us peace and respite. We notice the soothing effect of being away from the noise and information overload.
Then the idea of building more houses arises.
We're moving at full speed. The post-pandemic market is not favorable for investors. Despite obstacles and family separation, the investment is moving forward. After two years, we have it! Two charming houses. Due to the finish, we called them Brown and Green.
Is this the end of the story? Well, no. We believe that our story is just beginning...
