The plan was to set up a small guesthouse and live to old age in peace. We searched every corner of Warmia to find an old farm in a charming place. But then it appeared: the palace in Nakomiady. Almost whole, not yet completely drowned and stolen. 2 weeks to decide. And because sometimes it's hard for us to stop the momentum, we soon became its owners. You don't buy palaces on a whim, because such places captivate you for life. It's 10 years of renovation work, sacrifices, but also fascination, faith in the fulfillment of dreams and stubborn pursuit of their fulfillment.

After a decade, we opened the palace to people who share our values: the love of classical beauty and the joy of being surrounded by nature. A simple life, but in extraordinary surroundings. There is also a ceramic factory next to the palace, famous for its fabulous tiles like those from East Prussia - the work of Piotr. Today, the Manager's House opens its doors to guests: my intimate pride. It has a large bedroom upstairs, details that will please the eyes of design lovers, and views from a hammock that are more beautiful than in Tuscany.

The ground floor is a living room with a kitchen, dining room and bathroom. A sofa and two armchairs, exit to the terrace with a large hammock, table and garden chairs. Attic bedroom with two double beds and a sofa bed. Open space, portable air conditioner, "fast" stairs. Ceramic floor (handmade brick), designer accents (lamps), loft wiring, ceramic sockets and switches.

People live in the other part of the house - please keep it quiet late in the evening and at night.
There are stairs leading to the bedroom - take this into account when planning to arrive, e.g. with a person for whom this may be a problem.

Buffet breakfasts are served in the charming dining room of the Nakomiady Palace and available to guests of the Manager's House. Seasonal vegetables come from the regular vegetable garden next to the palace, so they are not only pleasing to the eye, but also to the palate.

In the kitchen of the Manager's House you will find: a fridge, a dishwasher, a 2-burner hob, a large ceramic sink and an absolutely unique ceramic wall. There is also a large table with a charming light.

We assume that having at our disposal regular vegetable and herb gardens, unique even on a European scale, an orchard, an over two-hundred-year-old park, a pond with an island and over one hundred hectares of ecological Masurian meadows with storks, frogs and other non-human people - people will not get bored.

In the village there is a small brick church from the 16th century. Behind the village, in the area that was covered by a lake in the Middle Ages, there is a hill - a remnant of a stronghold from the times of the Prussians.

Objects from various periods of history are scattered within a radius of several to several kilometers. From the small private museum of the Masurian Village in Owczarnia, founded a few years ago, the Manor House in Wajsznory with its lovingly restored park, the neighboring main airport of Hitler's headquarters in Wilamów, the headquarters itself in Gierłoż called the "Wolf's Lair", to the baroque monastery in Święta Lipka, castles Teutonic castles in Reszel, Kętrzyn, Ryn and Barciany, the Boyen Fortress in Giżycko or the unfinished Masurian canal with many disused locks.

Numerous bicycle routes lead to more or less famous places with manors and palaces - witnesses of the former splendor of these lands.

All these places are complemented by the nearby Great Masurian Lakes trail.

It's better to relax here, but if you need to work, it's also a perfect place.
