All roads lead to Lasówka. Or at least my roads sooner or later took turns, entered the forest, and before you knew it, you were home again. At first, admittedly, only in your imagination, but after a few years it began to gain more solid foundations. Today, instead of kilometre-long regulations, I have kilometres of empty trails for you and breakfast at a shared table. We will all fit, because I do not host more than a dozen guests in my four rooms.
I invite you warmly - solo, in a duet, with friends, with a bike or a dog. However, I warn you loyally. Lasówka is like grandma's apple pie. You just want more and more of it.
In a guest house with a view of the mountains and the Wild Orlice Valley. The price of accommodation already includes breakfast, which is served daily at a shared table. On the ground floor there is a common space, which is a living room with a fireplace, dining area and coffee corner. All 3 rooms and the two-room family apartment have their own bathrooms.
1) French Room - for a couple
A romantic room for a couple, with a double bed and a dressing table, decorated in a French style. Its undoubted advantage is the view of the mountains and the Wild Orlice Valley.
2) Alpine Room - for a couple or a family with a child
A comfortable room for a couple or a family with a child, decorated in an Alpine style. In addition to the double bed, the room also has a sofa bed. An undoubted advantage here is the picturesque panorama of the mountains and the Wild Orlice Valley.
3) English Room - for 3-4 people
A slightly larger room, decorated in the English style, ideal for a family or a group of friends, because 3 or 4 people will find comfortable accommodation here. Beautiful sunrises as a bonus for early birds, and a view of the mountains from the side window.
4) Scandinavian Apartment - for 3-4 people
A slightly larger room, decorated in the English style, ideal for a family or a group of friends, because 3 or 4 people will find comfortable accommodation here. Beautiful sunrises as a bonus for early birds, and a view of the mountains from the side window.
Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am at a common table. We try to use local products and diversify meals. There is always something warm, and to complete the set there are cold cuts, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers.
Restaurants in the area:
- "Jagienka", "Hanka" in Zieleniec (5 km),
- Horská Chata in Orlické Záhoří (6 km),
- PTTK Shelter Jagodna in Spalona (9 km),
- "Dobre Smaki" in Duszniki-Zdrój (12 km),
- "Pod Złotym Kasztanem" in Duszniki-Zdrój (12 km),

My house is located in Lasówka, in the Dzika Orlice valley, and the windows offer a stunning panorama of the Orlické Mountains. The forest is about 600 m away in a straight line, and the river is even less.
Lasówka is an excellent base for trips all year round.
In winter, cross-country skiing trails are prepared right next door, and there are ski lifts on both the Polish and Czech sides (Ski Arena Zieleniec - 5 km, Skiareál Orlické Záhoří - 7 km). You can easily rent equipment in Zieleniec. There is also a cross-country ski rental at the shelter in Spalona (9.5 km).
Spring and summer are the time for hiking and cycling trips. Picturesque hiking trails include: Torfowisko nad Zieleniec reserve, Huta - with a panorama of the entire area or a walk to the nearby observation towers (Śnieżnik, Jagodna, the lesser known Czerniec, Velka Destna). I recommend road or mountain trips to cyclists (routes in Zieleniec, around Jagodna, a network of singletracks). I have two bikes for rent on site.
According to many opinions, it is in Lasówka that we have the most beautiful rutting grounds in autumn, which you can listen to even from home. When walking in the forest, it is worth listening to the sounds of animals and looking under your feet - there are mushrooms here.
Additional attractions include:
- bathing in a hot tub with a view of the mountains (from spring to autumn),
- horse riding in a western style (in Gryglówka in Zieleniec - 5 km from us),
- bike rental (also electric) in Spalona near the PTTK Jagodna shelter, cross-country skiing instructor,
- Czech cuisine (Czech desserts - Kyhanka, Czech inn - Horska Chata).
What’s there for children?
Playground, as well as proximity to trails and ski lifts. They won't even have time to ask "how much further?" :)
