At a glance
We like it when Guests know what we don't have. The list is specific, just like the Bieszczady Mountains themselves, which would have dressed even Mickiewicz in rubber boots. So there is not and will not be: a jacuzzi, a garden with artificial lawn and non-mountain attractions in the Cottage. You will also go somewhere else for idyllic and rural romanticism. Because although we have been practicing Wetlina patriotism for over 30 years, we care about interpersonal honesty with equal verve.
As a married duo, we are already hosting another generation. We started working in mountain shelters, back in the days of flannel shirts and worn-out shoes. The next stop was the Chata Wędrowca restaurant and the famous giant blueberry pancakes. One more life revolt and we ended up at Wetlina 13, where good books, original flavors and two 4-person cottages await you. If you need space and to cut yourself off from people - we will just give you the code to the keys. But if you want to talk to us about mountains over cheesecake - we'll cut a piece from the heart.

Ewa and Robert have lived in the Bieszczady Mountains for over 30 years and worked in the tourism industry for the same amount of time. We hosted two mountain shelters in the Bieszczady Mountains from 1993 to 2006, rented a house in Smerek, rented guest rooms in Wetlina, and ran our own restaurant for twenty years. Our newest addition is Chata Wędrowca No. 13, operating since 2022. This concept has been recognized by the EU and supported by significant funding – a unique combination of a shop selling local products, a bookstore, a bar serving alcohol and specialty coffee, and a pancake house. Next to the Chata are our houses for rent to guests.
The host is an entrepreneur
When you book accommodation on Slowhop, you enter into a contract directly with the Host.
