Welcome to the water hideaway. The lake is just a foot away from the terrace surrounding the house on the water, where two or four travelers looking for a peaceful port can anchor. The view of the water, the greenery of the surrounding nature and the hiding place among the reeds and trees make it possible to calm your senses and soothe your tiredness. However, do not be fooled by appearances. Although the house is on the water, it does not rock at all. You can rock to the rhythm of the calm waves in a hammock, sway on a kayak or SUP board, which we have for you here, or drift your thoughts in an armchair on the roof. You can also eat breakfast and dinner there with a stunning view, grill and hang around for a moment or hang your eye on the kingfishers, cormorants, tawny owls and grey herons flying by.

We invite you to the house on Lake Duś, where islands sometimes float, and next to it there is a historic monastery. There is a climate here.

Situated on picturesque Lake Duś, next to a historic 18th-century monastery, two designer waterfront cottages offer modern luxury and timeless harmony with nature. This eco-friendly retreat is perfect for those seeking peace, elegance, and rejuvenation.

YOUR SPACE
Guests can choose from one or two cottages, located 300 meters apart and connected by a charming dirt road. This allows for a relaxing, intimate getaway or a group getaway.

The glass walls of the cottages allow you to fully enjoy what's most precious here – the breathtaking views. In this peaceful and quiet setting, you can observe rare wild birds (kingfishers, grey herons, tawny owls, mergansers, and cormorants) and aquatic animals such as ducks and beavers.

Larger Cottage (30 m²)
A comfortable living space designed for complete comfort, featuring:
- a living room with a sofa bed (suitable for 2 people)
- a bedroom with a double bed
- a kitchenette
- a bathroom

The entire space is surrounded by a terrace with hanging hammocks – the absolute number one spot for afternoon relaxation. On the roof of the cottage is a spectacular, 80-square-meter wooden terrace with atmospheric lighting, loungers, a table, chairs, and a barbecue. It's the perfect space for yoga, working out, board games, dancing, and shared meals under the stars.

Smaller Cottage (21 m²)
An intimate, one-room cottage, designed as a cozy base close to nature. Inside, you'll find:
- a fold-out bed measuring 160x200 cm
- two single beds measuring 80x200 cm (suitable for guests weighing up to 75 kg)
- a kitchenette
- a bathroom

Access to the cottages is via a pier, which opens onto a private area reserved exclusively for our guests.

TERRACES AND RELAXATION AREA
Each cottage has its own private terrace equipped with a table, chairs, loungers, and a barbecue. It's the perfect place for al fresco dining, soaking up the sun, and admiring the surrounding nature.

WATER SAUNA
The true gem of Wodna Hinterland is the unique barrel-shaped sauna with a panoramic glass wall, offering views of the tranquility of the lake and the surrounding greenery. Located on the pier next to the larger cottage, the sauna serves as a shared relaxation area for both cottages. It is available for full-day rentals for an additional fee, subject to availability. It's the perfect place for a warming sunset session!

EXPLORE THE SURROUNDINGS YOUR WAY
We provide stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) completely free of charge – perfect for a leisurely morning cruise on the smooth surface of the lake.
Bikes and a boat are available for an additional fee. They will be waiting for you at the café to accompany you on all-day excursions along the surrounding trails.

There are plenty of attractions nearby – walks in the surrounding forests (where you can spot deer, roe deer, and wild boars) and a visit to the neighboring Old Believers Monastery (now a museum). Nearby, there's an old cemetery, a campsite, and a cozy café serving locally roasted coffee and delicious homemade cheesecake!

In Wodna Kryjówka you cook your own food in the well-equipped kitchen. You can grill on the roof terrace. You can enjoy your meals inside or on the roof terrace. The view from every place will be first class.
Right next to the cottage is a café with delicious coffee, roasted by a local café and homemade cheesecake.

Nearby, you'll find a former Old Believer monastery, now used as a museum. Next to the monastery is an old cemetery, a campsite, and a café. The cottages are situated right on the lake, accessed by a jetty, and this is where your private area begins, accessible only to you.

Water sports equipment and bicycles are available on-site. You can take a boat or stand-up paddleboard to the center of the lake for a swim. We also encourage you to take walks in the surrounding forests (you might spot deer, roe deer, and wild boars) and charming villages.

- A glimpse into history is guaranteed by the beautiful Orthodox church and the unique Old Believers' nunnery with a tiny 18th-century church, which is located next door.
- Water sports on Lakes Krutyńskie and Bełdany will provide you with adrenaline.
- Rafting down the Krutynia River will provide a peaceful activity.
- Close encounters with forest inhabitants await you in the Wild Animal Park in Kadzidłowo and the Krutynia Nature Reserve.
- You can spot a grey heron in the Czapliniec Reserve.
- You can see wild Polish horses in Popielno.
- You can high-five deer at the Deer Farm of the Polish Academy of Sciences Research Station in Kosewo Górne.
- You can ride horses at the Ferenstein stud farm in Gałkowo.
- You can visit Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński's apartment at the Pranie Forester's Lodge; there, you'll also take part in artistic performances in the garden of the museum dedicated to the poet.

The Water Hideout features water houses with terraces bordering the water. Part of the area is separated from the water only by a detachable rope. Please keep this in mind when planning a visit with children.
