There is a house in the Suwałki forest, where both small and big and four-legged people can find respite. It is not just anywhere, but in Athens. And although the local climate does not resemble the Mediterranean climate, it is charming. We are surrounded by 166 lakes, because that is how many there are in the Augustów and Suwałki counties combined. The nearest one is 300 meters away, and a private jetty is ready on the shore, along with a boat and kayaks. We have forests, bike trails, Wigry National Park, where you can look out for wolf tracks, kayaking trips on the Czarna Hańcza and a whole list of natural attractions to look out for during walks: beaver lodges, crane breeding grounds, stork nests, autumn deer rutting grounds. The sun kindly tickles your nose while you lie in a hammock, children are run out, and breakfasts on the veranda are eaten to the last crumb. Such are the images that are drawn here. And they are fixed in our minds, so that we can return to them when it is raining, rainy and summer is far away. Although it is worth visiting us then, because there is a fireplace in the living room, and the autumn-winter sauna is even more enjoyable.

In the Suwałki forest, 300 meters from Lake Blizno, we have a wooden house divided in half. One of its parts is for you - with its own yard and fence!

You will find there: two lockable bedrooms on the first floor, and on the ground floor: a cozy living room with a fireplace, connected to the kitchen (which also has a washing machine), dining room and exit to the veranda with a table. In one bedroom there is a double bed (which can be separated into two single beds), and in the other a large double bed and two single beds.

We have a sauna, hammocks in the garden, a place for a bonfire and access to a private jetty.

The kitchen in the house is well equipped, and in the summer season 300 m from the house (by the lake) there is an open bar with delicious home cooking.

The area is beautiful. We are surrounded by the forests of the Augustów Forest, we are in the buffer zone of the Wigry National Park. Of the 166 lakes surrounding us, some are probably crowded, but most are not, and they are very clean. You can enjoy the silence here, not get off the hammock, perform sauna rituals and be, or you can focus on activity.

We recommend the following ways of spending time:
- swimming in the lake,
- trips on the lake (we have two kayaks and a rowing boat Wigry for you),
- kayaking trips on Czarna Hańcza, Marycha, Rospuda,
- hiking and cycling trips, Green Velo runs nearby,
- walking in wolf's tracks (the "Tropem Wilka" path, which is one of the eight points of the "Wolf Trail"), educational paths of the Wigry National Park, through the Perkuć Nature Reserve,
- a trip on the Wigry Narrow Gauge Railway,
- mushroom picking in the nearby forests,
- sightseeing in the area (Monastery on Wigry, Suwałki, Augustów, Sejny, the sanctuary of Our Lady of Studzieniczna, the railway bridge in Stańczyki, the wooden church in Mikaszówka, the double water lock in Paniewo, the amazing Bachanowo boulder field),
-the proximity of the Lithuanian border encourages you to check out what's interesting in your neighbours - you can't miss the castle in Trakai and not use the huge swimming pool complex in Druskininkai, and there are also Vilnius and Klaipėda, one of the largest in Europe. A little closer, in Suwałki, there is an aqua park with swimming pools, slides and saunas.
- diving in the nearby Lake Busznica,
- observing nature (beaver lodges, crane breeding grounds, stork nests, deer rutting in autumn),
- seeing the Augustów Canal,
- a boat cruise from the port in Augustów or water skiing,
- in winter 25 km of prepared and maintained cross-country skiing trails in the Suwałki area,
- two slopes with ski lifts: a T-bar lift in Szelment and a chairlift in Gołdap.

For children we have a whole set of small joys: a comfortable bedroom, which can be just for them, a swing on the veranda and a basket with all kinds of games. Although we know from experience that all this is for nothing, when the lake is so close! You can take the children on kayaks, water bike trips and boat trips.

The internet is fast, so if you need to work from here, it won't be a problem.
