At a glance
There is a semi-detached house with two independent apartments near the Suwałki forest, where the small, the big and the four-legged can find respite. It is not just anywhere, but in Athens. And although the local climate does not resemble the Mediterranean climate, it is charming. We are surrounded by 166 lakes, because that is how many there are in the Augustów and Suwałki counties combined. The nearest one is 300 meters away, and a private jetty is ready on the shore, with a boat and kayaks by it. Here we have forests, bicycle routes, Wigry National Park, where you can look out for wolf tracks, kayaking trips down the Czarna Hańcza and a whole list of natural attractions to look out for during walks: beaver lodges, crane breeding grounds, stork nests, autumn deer rutting grounds. The sun kindly tickles your nose while you lie in a hammock, the children run around, and breakfasts on the veranda are eaten to the last crumb. Such are the images that come to mind. And they are fixed in your head to return to them when it is raining, sleet, and summer is far away. Although it is worth visiting us then, because there is a fireplace in the living room, and the autumn-winter sauna is even more enjoyable.

My name is Łukasz and I manage PodLaskiem Sleep&Spa – a place my parents created with love almost 30 years ago and today they passed the baton to me. It's a synergy of two generations: their experience, my ideas. Ola, my fiancée, supports me in this. I'm a lawyer by day, but here I leave the legalities at the door and focus solely on your well-being. The place itself takes care of everything else – the silence, the fire, and the stars.
