The valley has the advantage of being surrounded by mountains on two sides. Oskarówka is located in a forest clearing between the Gorce Mountains and the Beskid Wyspowy Mountains. It is quite high, which has many advantages. Not many daredevils want to climb here, but the mountains are very close. It is also close to the river - where we cool off in the summer, and for sledging, we go down from right under the house. There are endless mushrooms, untouched trails. However, you have to get here. Once you have crossed the stream, the steep dirt road up the hill, and in winter the snow reaching the door handles (chains on the wheels are necessary), you will see a house like from a fairy tale, with a view like from a dream. To the Gorce Mountains, to the clouds caressing the peaks, to the sun, which often visits us. We invite you to a house with a fireplace, which will wrap 6-8 people, your children and pets (we do not have a fence). There are plenty of attractions for adults, and plenty for children. Sauna, jacuzzi, cottage with a slide, terrace with rockers, hammocks. Here you eat breakfast as if on a lookout tower, and then head to Mogielica for even better panoramas.
We invite you on a mountain adventure like from a romantic comedy. Do you remember “Holiday”? Exactly! Oskarówka is your cottage for celebrating winter, enjoying summer and celebrating autumn.
The cottage is designed for 6-8 people, but if you want to come with 9 people, you will also fit. There are two bedrooms in Oskarówka. The first has two double beds and a sofa bed. The second bedroom has one double bed and one single bed. One bedroom has a balcony with a view directly onto Gorc.
In the living room there is a sofa bed for two people and two fold-out armchairs (like in American movies) with a relaxation function. In the living room we have a fireplace - we love spending winter evenings by it. There is a TV with access to Netflix. There is internet - sometimes our guests work remotely, enjoying the charms of nature. There is also a bathroom with a shower in the house, and in the room with the sauna and jacuzzi there is an additional bathroom (it will be available any day now). The sauna and jacuzzi overlooking the forest are for you exclusively - at no extra charge.
The terrace is equipped with swings, a hammock, a lounge set, a table with chairs, a grill. For younger guests we have prepared a "mini house" with a slide and sandbox. For football fans there is a goal and a ball.
The last 450 meters, from the parking lot on the street to the house, is a dirt road with a steep climb. Access by car, min. SUV 4x4 - in winter, snow chains on all wheels are necessary. After prior reservation, we provide our guests with transport on the day of arrival and transport on the day of departure included in the price of the stay.
We have a well-equipped kitchen, including a coffee machine, mixer, oven, induction hob. There is a very large table for feasting. We offer local specialties on request (for your arrival, we can prepare them for you for an additional fee). In the vicinity of the house there are blueberries, strawberries, mushrooms.
This picturesque town is Szczawa (about an hour's drive from Krakow), located in the Beskid Wyspowy Mountains, surrounded by the mountains and forests of the Gorce Mountains. The town lies at the foot of Kiczora and Wielki Wierch and Hala. Just look around to choose your favorite activity - walks in the forest, mountain trails, bike trails, wading in mountain streams, mushroom picking. All this is at your fingertips.
You will be able to relax in the garden on a hammock, read books in the swing on our sunny terrace, and warm yourself by the fireplace in winter. When it comes to heating, we have taken care of several sources of heat. There is a sauna and a jacuzzi overlooking the forest. There is the aforementioned fireplace. In the evenings, we suggest sauna and jumping into the snow (in winter), and in summer, a barbecue on the terrace, where you can organize feasts in the unique mountain scenery. In winter, we have a lot of snow and a hill right in front of the house, so sleighing (not only for children) is a daily occurrence. Sleigh rides ending with a bonfire are also possible. If you are interested in a sleigh ride with a bonfire and refreshments, be sure to let us know in advance. Availability of sleigh rides is limited by time, number of available sleighs and number of people interested. Cross-country and downhill ski trails are also nearby.
The location of Szczawa in the valley between the Beskid Wyspowy and the Gorce Mountains makes the town an excellent base for trips into the area.

What’s there for children?
For children, we have prepared a wooden house "mini Oskarówka" with a slide (available both in summer and winter) and a sandbox with toys. We also have a lot of toy cars on site. For football fans, we have a goal and balls. Swings for swinging, a hammock on the terrace. This is where the kids spend most of their time. They also like to play in the nearby river (400 m). Parents borrow deckchairs from Oskarówka and lie on the bank of the stream looking at their children.
Bad weather is not a problem for us. We have lots of toys for children, books, drawing cards, crayons, puzzles and games. There is something for fans of Paw Patrol, Fireman Sam and Peppa Pig. There is even a street carpet and a garage for Hot Wheels fans. We also have Netflix with cartoons. Boredom is not a problem here - tested on our son, who loves spending time here.
In winter, sledging - lots of "hills" around the house.
What’s there for employees?
The table in our kitchen is really huge. It is not only a place to eat together, but it can also be a place to work. The Internet is booming!
