Our home is hidden at the end of the road in the Novoban forests, at the very top of the hill. With the most beautiful view of the valley and the surrounding area. Surrounded by forest, meadows, in the neighborhood of an old orchard and forest dwellers. Here you will see roe deer, foxes, badgers, wild boars, and in the fall, deer will graze here. This place enchanted us and we decided to live here. When we were busy in our house, it was the turn of the wooden house for six, built by the husband's hands (and hidden in the forest). A little later, we completed this duet with a maringotka transformed into a romantic retreat for a couple. And now we invite you to Na Somotu...

Behind the panoramic views, power and sounds of the forest. For bohemian relaxation in an open-air bath. Behind a glass of cool water from the well to discover that even water has its own delicious taste. To bite into a crispy, home-baked, honest sourdough bread... And top it all off with a soak in the grass or on the terrace. Count the clouds in the sky, listen to the rustle of the leaves and the concerts of the operas, or remember what it's like to relax carefree in a fragrant haystack.

The last section of the road leads to us along a forest road - you shouldn't have a problem getting here even with a normal car, but if there's anything, let us know and we'll solve it together.

MARINGOTKA FOR COUPLE  
We direct this to all couples wishing for a touch of romance and relaxation together. You will find it in the meadow, from where you will have a great view of the valley. And to make the experience even better, there is a terrace with an outdoor bathroom and bathtub near Maringotka.  
What else you will find here:

- terrace with space for relaxing and grilling

WOODEN HOUSE FOR A GROUP OF SIX 
You can find it in the forest and a separate driveway leads to it.

SAUNA, MINI FITNESS & HAY/ CHILLOUT ZONE
In the old barn, we decided to transform the space into a zone for body care, so we set aside space for a sauna and mini fitness. And there is also a popular sewing room in the old hayloft - with sitting or, if you want, even jumping into the hay :)   

Both in Maringotka and in the House, you have a space reserved for you, where you can cook and sing along happily. We are happy to offer our guests good food (for a fee), as agreed.
Lunches or dinners, homemade food, organic, local vegetables and the rest of the ingredients from local suppliers.

FOR WELCOME
As a welcome, you will receive a basket with baked sourdough bread, a bottle with contents according to the season - either bubbles or wine, and all of this supplemented with samples of homemade natural cosmetics.

In the morning, enjoy the undisturbed view of the sunrise, your morning coffee on the terrace and quietly watch the world come to life. If you want, bring with you the pile of books that have slowly gathered dust, because there was simply no time.

Or...
- when you are in Maringotka, treat yourself to a bath in an open-air bath
- enjoy a sauna in the original (more than 100-year-old barn) and cool off with refreshing water from our well ;)
- try archery
- go to our mini fitness
- go herb picking
- watch the night sky without light smog or with bated breath wildlife when it appears

And when you are asked to enter civilization, you can still:

- go to the Novoban taich and swim here in the summer
- wear hiking boots and wander through the surrounding woods
- get the adrenaline flowing on the Skalka via ferrata
- view the panorama of the Novoban basin from the Háj lookout
- follow the footsteps not only of the mining history of the town of Nová Baňa and the surrounding area (Stôlňa Trojkráľová, Hronská dedičná stólňa, Hodrušská klopačka, Banská Štiavnica)
- refresh yourself with a view of the Starohutský and Rudniansky waterfalls
- ride a horse at the Beri riding school (2.5 km)
- or do you want to look at the andesite stone sea?
