We invite you to two houses smelling of wood on the top of one of the Kashubian hills, where the forest rustles and the rural idyll reigns. This is where you will become wild, return to the factory settings, immerse yourself in nature and get bored like you haven't had the opportunity for a long time. The surroundings give you a sense of intimacy and respite. And the area offers attractions that fulfill the vision you have in your head when you say "vacation in the countryside". You can walk through the meadows and weave wreaths, watch the sunsets from the hills and be enchanted by the mists descending into the valleys, get sore while cycling on the waves of the local landscape and lie flat on the grass. You can swim across Lake Białe, which is a few minutes' walk away, or wallow in laziness in a hammock among the trees. You can devour books there just as well as take naps. You can be absorbed by the pleasure of soaking in a tub, reduce stress in a sauna session, and the youngest can be drawn into the fun for long moments in the mud kitchen and a small wooden house. We have woven two full-size houses from everything that is beautiful - forest, garden, wood, DIY projects and decorations telling stories about wild birds. We invite you to their atmospheric interiors and to the Kashubian forest, we will host you as best we can.
Above misty meadows, nestled among dense Kashubian forests, on a hill, await you two modern cottages – Żuraw (bathed in sunlight) and Kos (hidden in the shade of trees).
Each cottage has almost 60 m² and access to a private hot tub, which you enter directly from the terrace (you don't need to know how to heat the hot tub – contact us and we'll prepare it before your arrival).
In the cozy interiors of Kos and Żuraw, you'll find:
– a living room with a fireplace and a fold-out sofa (and a bookcase for those who enjoy reading),
– a fully equipped kitchenette – we have an oven and a drip coffee maker with a grinder always filled with fresh coffee beans (if you're planning a movie, be sure to use our popcorn maker),
– a bathroom with a spacious shower (complete with natural cosmetics),
– two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with a double and single bed), accessed by oak stairs. We've chosen a wood-based décor; in each cottage, you'll find handcrafted elements and works by Polish artists.
Every morning, you can step out of the cottage directly onto the wooden terrace, where we've set up a dining area for shared meals and loungers for absurdly long relaxation. A few steps from the cottage, you'll find a Finnish sauna with a panoramic window overlooking the garden. We've focused on total sauna comfort, so in the vestibule, you'll find hangers for outerwear and natural essential oils for aromatherapy sessions. The sauna is shared by both cottages, but we schedule use so that you can always bask in the sun individually—without company. Practically speaking, you let us know what time you plan to use the sauna, and we'll heat it up for you.
The cottages are situated on a 3,000 m² plot with a private grove and surrounded by Kashubian mixed forests. We've created a fire pit for you—around the fire, we've placed wooden armchairs, a bench, and a table for comfortable grilling. You ask us if it's a grill or a bonfire, and we say both. The fire pit has a movable grate, so there's no need to fry sausages on a stick (but the sticks are also ready ;)). You'll always find kindling and a supply of wood by the fire pit.
You won't have to think about anything here, as we've made sure you'll have everything you need. So, focus your thoughts on evenings by the bonfire, spending time together on the large wooden terrace, and blissfully relaxing in hammocks strung among the trees.
The cottages are located in a residential area where there are other houses, but the surrounding area is dominated by forest and meadows. Access to the cottages is via a paved road and, in part, a gravel road maintained year-round (you'll have no problems getting there in winter).
We created Wild Cottages for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle, relax among the trees, and listen to the birds—not the bass from the wall. This is a place for a hammock, a book, and the stars, not for late-night parties. That's why, with a smile but a firm no, we say "no" to parties, and a definite "yes" to quiet hours (from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Thank you for helping us maintain the atmosphere of this place :)
In the kitchen, we'll leave you coffee and a wide selection of teas. You'll find a drip coffee maker with fresh beans, a milk frother, a kettle, a blender, a toaster, and a popcorn maker. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stovetop and oven (baking trays are also available). Feel free to use our herb garden.
Many nearby restaurants offer delivery to our location, and we also recommend visiting some of the charming local spots. You'll find a list of recommendations below.
We sincerely hope that all our visitors will find a peaceful place to relax here! May the peace and quiet of the forests that surround us infect you. We love Kashubia and have made it our mission to create a place where you can relax away from the hustle and bustle, the fast pace of life, and the constant feeling of "having to do something." We designed the large wooden terraces to soak up the sun in the morning and relax in the shade in the afternoon. We've also included a range of attractions.
Did you know that swinging has therapeutic properties for our bodies? To let you experience them for yourself, we've hung hammocks among the trees for swinging with or without a book, allowing you to gaze at the clouds.
From the hot tub assigned to each cottage, you'll be able to admire the stars and listen to the silence, sometimes disturbed by the rabbits that inhabit our garden.
Our Kobysewo is a small village with a wide variety of buildings, and the terrain is so diverse that even a short walk can improve your fitness. Cycling enthusiasts will need to arm themselves with energy reserves to conquer all the hills on the trails, but we assure you, it's worth it.
Do you love being by the water? A few minutes from Dzikie Domki is Lake Białe, accessible via the Kashubian Tourist Trail. The reservoir boasts high water clarity and a maximum depth of 30 meters, making it a real treat for divers. Pedal boats can be rented at Lake Klasztorne in Kartuzy, Lake Rekowo in Łapalice, or Lake Kłodno in Chmielno.
How about a kayak? A charming, undemanding, yet very interesting route runs along the Radunia River. We recommend a kayaking trip with Kajaczkowo in Kiełpino.
Or perhaps to the seaside? A big advantage of our location is that you can reach the beach in about an hour.
The cottages are available year-round. If you visit us in winter, we encourage you to enjoy winter swimming, skiing on the Paczoskowo ski slope, or sledding on the surrounding hills.
We believe that the best thing you can give children is time spent in nature. That's why we've taken care of attractions for the youngest outdoors: a place to play by the forest with a tree house, sandbox, slide, mud kitchen and various swings. We also have some toys in the house, although often found in the forest, sticks and pebbles are very tempting. Fortunately, we have plenty of them here.
In each of the houses, one of the bedrooms is equipped with a desk with a comfortable chair. The range varies. We have wifi, but we do not guarantee that it will cope with online meetings. Sending emails will not be a problem.
