I inherited the wooden cottage in Nowoberezowo from my grandparents, as is the tradition in Podlasie villages. The house has an old soul and décor that dates back to the early 20th century. It embodies colors, tells stories, and refers to local tradition. The decorative shutters were made by my grandfather, who was a carpenter, and a tiled stove has been preserved inside, and I collected colorful bedspreads, pillows, oak chairs, rugs, icons, embroidered towels and filled 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a relaxation area with them. This is not a house for everyone. It can be overwhelming, it has walk-through rooms, but I assure you that its atmosphere is unique. There is a rural vegetable and flower garden around it, and beyond there are only fields. I will treat those who are interested to meals based on regional cuisine and show them where it is worth exploring the area. We certainly have one of the most charming corners in Poland here. Villages surprising with wooden architecture, houses with folk decorations, delicious regional food and cordiality, thanks to which you will feel like you are at God's place behind the stove. Do not forget about bisons and the wilderness.
