It's time. Lake time. Time to relax, kick off your shoes, wear tracksuits or the same T-shirt for the fourth day in a row and ignore any to-do list. Because these are the rules here, that you have to let go and rest. Here, under the Masurian forest, a few hundred meters from a great lake and a few hundred from the river, you will find what you need for relaxation and probably a bit of what you haven't even thought about. Because sailing around the lake, watching beavers in their refuge, visiting a lavender field and atmospheric galleries in Kawkowo and the surrounding area are for everyone. Just like staying in a wooden house, where a fireplace warms, the terrace opens up to meetings and feasts, and three bedrooms tempt with the promise of undisturbed sleep.
Don't wait any longer. It's time to pack up and drop by to experience the forest, relaxation, water and freedom. You will find us in Pelnik, on the border of Western Masuria and Warmia.
Near the shores of Lake Isąg, in the buffer zone of the Masurian forest, we have a house with 3 bedrooms for you. All of them are located on the first floor (2 have double beds, one has 2 single beds). On the ground floor there is: a living room with a fireplace connected to the dining room with a table for 6 people and a kitchenette. There are 2 bathrooms in the house: one with a bathtub on the ground floor, the other with a shower on the first floor.
The house is year-round, we have underfloor heating.
You will have a few hundred meters to the lake, and above it a beach and a pier. The Ostoja Bobrów nature reserve on the Pasłęka River also stretches nearby.
The house has a full-size kitchen equipped with a fridge with freezer, induction hob and oven. We also have an electric kettle, Nespresso capsule coffee machine and dishwasher.
We recommend the Lawendowa restaurant in Łukta, 4 km away, and the U Smoleja café (open in the summer season). You will find more restaurants in Olsztyn (25 km from us) and Ostróda (also 25 km).
Lake, river, forests, beavers, bikes, kayaks – Warmia at its best! As a result, you can focus on active recreation here or just the opposite. Experience the forest, relaxation, water and comfort.
Nearby you will have a sandy beach with a volleyball court and a swimming area with a separate area for children. The nearest area is simply made for kayaking. You can sail around Isąg along and across. Beavers live on Pasłęka and it is no wonder, because this area is covered by the "Ostoja beavers na rzeki Pasłęce" reserve. Currently, over 70 beaver families live on the area of the refuge. It is the builder beavers that are at home here. They cut down trees, build lodges and eat young twigs.
The aforementioned Lake Isąg is great for swimming and fishing too. The water is dominated by loaches, breams, perches and pikes. What is important and - this is a licensed fishing ground, but in order to fish, you also need a nature conservationist stamp. Available in Ostróda fishing shops. There is a silence zone on the lake.
Around Pelnik we also have forests, forests and forests. Perfect for bikes and walks. We guarantee that you will not be able to walk all of it, although it is worth trying. During the trip, we recommend heading for the charming, wooden bridge on Pasłęka.
Among the nearby attractions, we recommend:
- The Live Lavender Museum in Nowe Kawkowo - an ethnographic educational and workshop stop, where you can taste lavender infusion, learn something about lavender, and see the permanent exhibition (the museum and shop are open from May to October),
- the Basilica of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Gietrzwałd from the 15th century, where neo-Gothic architecture and interior design are combined with Baroque altars and colourful polychromes by Krakow artists,

You can try local specialties and buy local products from local artists. The area is full of cycling trails and lakes. In autumn, it is an ideal place for mushroom picking.
