What does Odpoczywalnia consist of? A rocking room, a bedroom (or even five), a dining room, a playroom, a sauna. This is a house filled to the brim with comforts, time-saving and relaxation aids. On 260m² there are 5 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dining room, a living room for shared relaxation, two bathrooms.
We have a proven recipe for a successful vacation with little ones, doing nothing with friends, hen parties and multi-generational family reunions. We professionally deal with making toys, so we are familiar with vacations with children. At home, we built a playground with a house, a slide, ladders. There are balance beams, places to build a base, toys and books. The second playground is in the garden. We tried to think of everything for the Little Ones, so that we could answer every question of future Guests: yes, we do. While the kids are having fun, adults can take over the large soft rockers in the living room, play billiards, board games or sit down to play on the PS5. After dark, it's best to move to the garden. Light a fire in the outdoor fireplace/grill, heat up the sauna and tub and enjoy the charms of the Rest Area. Hungry? You can make a pizza on a stone intended for this purpose, order a basket with local products from us or, if you're lazy, order food from the nearby Pakosław Palace. We invite your well-coordinated team for a lab at the Rest Area.
We recommend the house for a group of 10-12 people. There are 5 bedrooms in the house, so each couple can have their own. For your convenience, we will describe the layout of the beds and the possibilities of extra beds/cots in our house.
First floor:
- Room 1: large double bed + 2 fold-out single armchairs + there will be room for 1 extra bed and/or a cot - it is a really large room with a wardrobe.
- Room 2: large double bed + fold-out armchair for 1-2 people (there is also a wardrobe here).
- Room 3: large double bed with the possibility of an extra bed/cot.
- Room 4: large double bed without the possibility of an extra bed (a cot could fit here eventually, but it will be quite tight).
Ground floor:
- Room 5: two single beds connected into one large bed (can be joined and separated); with the beds connected, we can add a cot here).
There are two bathrooms in the house: one upstairs (with a hydromassage bathtub) and the other downstairs (with a shower).
Guests also have at their disposal a spacious living room with many comfortable places to sit and an adjacent kitchen with a dining area.
We also accept groups larger than 10-12 people. The largest we have hosted was 16 people (usually girls, e.g. for a hen party).
We encourage you to cook together! We have a spacious fridge, oven, 6-burner stove and even a pizza stone. Pots, baking trays and other basic kitchen utensils are waiting in the cupboards. All the basic spices and oil are also waiting for guests - a good start to cooking. If you have little ones with you - even better. We have our own kitchen helpers that make cooking easier. If you don't have an idea for dinner, nothing is lost! We have a library of recipes at hand (also for little ones).
At Odpoczywalnia, it is not possible to buy full board, but we have proven options:
- breakfast baskets full of delicacies - you will find eggs from happy village hens, local delicacies (like fried cheese), something sweet, something savory, something vegetarian and not. We deliver them straight to your door at an agreed time. Please order them before your stay. Price of the basic basket: PLN 499/group of 10 people + PLN 50 each additional person.
- for dinners and deliveries we recommend the Palace in Pakosław - we live well with them and they feed us next door. For the Guests of Odpoczywalnia we have a 10% discount with the slogan "Odpoczywalnia".
- The Palace also has "party boxes" that our Guests gladly use (mini burgers and similar delicacies), they have also baked cakes for our Guests.
If you try hard, it probably is, but we have done everything in our power to provide our Guests with a variety of entertainment.
In the garden, the Guests can enjoy:
- a dry sauna and a hot tub - a jacuzzi. The sauna is electric, so all you have to do is turn the switch and after 40 minutes you will feel the pleasant warmth. The hot tub is wood-fired, but we have everything on site, including kindling, so even very city-dwelling Guests will be able to handle the stove - a goat,
- a covered place for feasting with a brick barbecue. In the summer, in addition to traditional barbecues, we especially recommend breakfasts here.
At home:
- the first seats on the rocking chairs in the living room will be filled - we guarantee it. This is where you can read books and magazines from your home library,
- there is also a large TV in the living room with access to Netflix and Disney Plus and PlayStation5 for guests to use,
- a pool table two steps from the living room,
- a supply of board games and party games,
- if you need a moment to yourself, just lock yourself in the bathroom upstairs. There is a whirlpool bathtub that can easily fit two people. In addition, scented soaps, shampoos, candles and (of course) after-bath balm,
- Guests can have a massage (by appointment).
Workshop, i.e. 120m2 of space for creative use. Everything is white here: walls, ceiling and floor. Every day, yoga classes on mats, yoga in scarves or yoga with kettlebells are held here. Each of them (and yoga for children aged 3-9 = free time for parents) can be organized at the request of Guests. We have special suspensions (hooks) in the ceiling for scarves, and the room itself is quite high. It was originally created as a photo studio. This is where babywood product photos are created. We also recommend it to photographers for photography workshops.
Additional options: wreath-making/door wreath-making workshops and soy candle preparation, sushi preparation/live cooking workshops. Additional attractions can be used by prior arrangement.
What’s there for children?
Toddlers are a very privileged group for us. We are parents ourselves and we know how much a family needs for a 2-day trip. We tried to think of everything to be able to answer every question from future Guests: yes, we do.
Outside, a playground with swings, a sandbox and a slide awaits the Toddlers. Inside - surprise! We have a second one. Both playgrounds came straight from the hands of the magicians of our Babywood workshop. After all, toys are what we know best.
In the home corner, a slide awaits the Toddlers, which is accessed by a ladder and a secret passage. Below - soft carpet, and on it ideal conditions for hours of play: toys for children of different ages, a balance beam, an arcade game, a table and chairs for drawing, always sharpened crayons (we seriously care about that!), books for reading before bed and more. And most importantly - soft cushions and the space under the slide is ideal for building a base in it.
In the living room, there are XL-size rockers with comfortable pillows, which children certainly use, but (we could swear!) - parents use them even more often.
In addition, we have a lot of things that make parenting easier:
- kitchen helpers for cooking together,
- a library with a selection of cookbooks (including items for children),
- high chairs,
- colorful children's tableware,
- travel cots,
- a changing table,
- super cute! bathrobes in children's sizes and children's towels,
- potties + toilet seat,
- steps for washing hands in the bathrooms.
What’s there for employees?
We have a fast internet connection (we have fiber optics), and a large kitchen table encourages joint work/workshops. Workshops/presentations can also be held in the Workshop Room. Some rooms also have tables/desks for comfortable work.
The Rest Room space is more conducive to creative group work and discussions than long hours of work in solitude. Although such people will also find a corner to hide in.
Important: a drip coffee machine and a coffee maker are waiting in the kitchen.
