We'd say "agritourism for the discerning." It's a rural retreat in an old barn, yet it offers all the comforts of modern life. The master bedroom is a bit like a New York penthouse, only through a huge window you admire not the tops of the office buildings below, but the treetops. It's like a village, with wildflowers, a wooden fence, and wide-open shutters, yet hidden away in the forest. Your own little private village without witnesses. The only guests who might disturb your peace will be the furry lovebirds, also known as Polish hummingbirds. In summer, they arrive almost daily to sip nectar from our flower bar. What also sets us apart from agritourism is that the entire retreat is yours alone: a dream country vacation with only your favorite people. What should you watch out for here? In summer, you can let yourself out on a deckchair on the green grass, in autumn, you can avoid tripping on the mushroom obstacle course, and in winter, you can count on Kaśka, our horse neighbor, who may want to lick the salt from your car windows. You come to the most blissful place in the forests of Mazovia at your own risk.

Siedlisko za Piaskami is a true haven hidden in the heart of a pine forest, where the soothing sound of trees awaits you. A gravel side road leads to it, symbolically cutting you off from the hustle and bustle of civilization and prying eyes.

Here, you will be captivated by the scent of flowers from our garden, resin, and a profound peace where you can finally hear your own thoughts. This is a place for rest, deep breathing, and celebrating peace, but not for loud parties.

The interior of the house is a safe haven. You will be surrounded by old, solid furniture reminiscent of bygone times, clay pots, a stool by the kitchen, and ornaments salvaged from old cottages. We have complemented the house with family heirlooms, which whisper their own stories from the shelves, creating an atmosphere of authenticity and homely warmth.

The heart of the master bedroom are the enormous, panoramic windows, through which you can admire the soothing view of the forest straight from bed.

What exactly awaits you there?

· Attic:
Two bedrooms, which can sleep a total of 6 people. The first has a large double bed, the second has a double bed and two single beds (which can be joined together). Each room is equipped with comfortable armchairs, wardrobes, and blackout blinds.

· Living room with fireplace:
A cozy space with a fold-out sofa bed for an additional 2 people.

· Kitchen:
A true "command center" – fully equipped (dishwasher, two ovens, large stove, toaster, blender).

· Bathrooms:
Two identically equipped bathrooms with showers and hairdryers (one upstairs, one downstairs).

Amenities:
Under the stairs you'll find a washing machine, ironing board, iron, and vacuum cleaner. We've installed mosquito nets on the windows, and an outdoor shower with hot water awaits in the garden – a HIT on hot days.

We offer a fully equipped kitchen – perfect for preparing delicious meals using local treasures. Fresh produce can be found at the nearby market, regional dairy, and local butchers. And if you'd rather not cook, we recommend a restaurant 4.5 km away, which serves delicious meals, even with door-to-door delivery.

When designing Siedlisko za Piaskami, we knew from the outset what would be most important here: soothing nature, peeking in through the windows and allowing a respite from the hustle and bustle. This is a place created for those who want to feast their eyes on the greenery of the forest and listen to its sounds.

Our guests will find the perfect conditions for complete tranquility here. You can spend time with a book on the terrace or in a hammock, go for a long walk combined with mushroom picking, or go on a bike ride.

· Rafting along the Bug River's meanders
This is a beautiful, wild river, where instead of concrete banks, you'll see sandbars and beavers. You can paddle slowly, at your own pace.

· Cycling tour through the Bug Landscape Park
Local routes lead through pine forests and villages hidden among fields, where the only "traffic jam" may be a herd of cows returning from grazing.

· Visit the Ciechanowiec Museum of Agriculture
This is a huge open-air museum with fragrant wooden cottages and herb gardens, where time has practically stopped in the 19th century.

· Picnic on a slope near Drohiczyn
The view from above of the Bug River winding below is breathtaking, and it's probably the best place in Poland to read a book at sunset.

· Forest bathing in the surrounding forests
The forests around Telak are exceptionally dense and mushroom-rich, which promotes a "digital detox" and the calming of the senses through simple berry picking or listening to woodpeckers.

· Local crafts and flavors from neighbors
The area is famous for its traditional bread and cheese, so it's worth going in search of a farmhouse egg or authentic sourdough bread, straight from the home oven.

Stargazing without light smog
Thanks to the low-rise buildings and the lack of large cities nearby, the night sky over Telaki shows the Milky Way in all its glory, a rarity in central Poland.

We haven't prepared any special attractions for children, but we all know that sometimes there's no better fun than playing with a stick. If your children are nature lovers and you'd like to organize some quality time for them in the forest or take them on hikes around the area, we invite you to join us.
