We named this house bëlny, which means wonderful in Kashubian. It is also sunny and hospitable, it is conducive to family and friendly meetings, it opens its doors to dogs of all sizes, it likes life to go on in it, bare feet step on the wooden parquet, feasts are held on the terrace, and blissful dreams are dreamed in each of the three bedrooms. I was enchanted by its beauty when I saw it in the photos. And at the first meeting I knew immediately that this was the house we had been looking for so long. Although it stands in the intimate company of several other houses, mainly summer houses, it is squeezed into the forest that is part of the Wdzydzki Landscape Park and you don't feel the neighborhood here. Only the natural one. From the spacious terrace you can see a wall of trees, it is also quite green outside the windows of the glass-covered living room. Inside and outside you will find plenty of places to relax, four fireplaces that bring warmth and atmosphere, a bathtub in one of the two bathrooms and harmonious colours of furniture, decorations and accessories. Paintings by Stanisław Koguciuk hang on the walls, because collecting Polish folk art is my passion. As well as exploring Kashubian secrets, which I encourage you to do. In the summer you spend time here in the garden and in a few moments you reach the lake, but the real magic of this place comes true in the autumn and winter. You can hide away here, warm your senses and enjoy yourself. Drop by with a nice team for peace, grounding and seclusion.

Having lived in the Tri-City for many years, I have travelled through Kashubia dozens of times, knowing little about the local culture apart from the existence of characteristic floral embroidery and the Kashubian language. During my anthropological studies, I delved deeper into the subject, got to know the people, a bit of the language, literature, culture and history, and Kashubia became my “place on Earth”. Bëlny Dom is open to guests. It is a place to relax, meet family and friends, but also a wonderful (bëlna) base for discovering Kashubia from the inside out.

Other rules

We hope that your stay at Bëlny Dom will be a wonderful time of relaxation and rest for you.

We always make every effort to ensure that everything is beautifully prepared for your comfort during your stay at home.

We also have a few rules and conditions that are essential when booking and staying with us.

1. To make a reservation, please pay a deposit of 35% of the value of your stay and a deposit of PLN 800. Please pay the remaining amount up to 7 days before your arrival date.

2. The deposit is refundable up to 7 days after the departure date and we hope it will not be, but it can be reduced by the costs of any losses incurred during your stay.

3. Continuing the issue of possible accidents, we kindly ask you to take care of our house as you would your own. If any damage occurs in the house and garden during your stay, which exceeds the amount of the deposit, Guests will be obliged to cover the costs of purchasing a new product or the costs of repair.
4. Returning to the deposit - The deposit is not forfeited if the reservation is cancelled up to 30 days before arrival and then we choose a new arrival date (within 1 year and taking into account seasonal prices) - The deposit is forfeited if cancelled later than 30 days from the arrival date.
5. Arrival from 16:00 to 20:00, departure by 11:00 If possible, we offer early arrival and late departure free of charge - we will determine this individually depending on other reservations and the time we need to prepare the house.
6. Bëlny Dom is designed for a maximum of 8 people and we ask our Dear Guests to respect this and not to invite people from outside the reservation to the house.
7. We kindly ask Guests to leave order after themselves, please wash the dishes and throw all rubbish in the bins in front of the house.
8. Please note that we are not responsible for accidents and losses of Guests or their property resulting from their stay at Bëlny Dom.

9. Dear Guests Parents of small children - this may be obvious, but we ask that you supervise your children during your stay as you would at home. There are stairs in the house, fireplaces may be hot, the terrace may be slippery during rain or snow. Please note point 8 - we are not responsible for accidents or losses of Guests or their property resulting from their stay in the House.

10. Stay with gentle dogs is allowed, but requires confirmation when booking. Please bring a bed for your pet and we absolutely ask that dogs not stay on beds and sofas. Guests allergic to hair will be bothered by this, and on top of that we will get a slap on the head from the ladies in the laundry for hair on the bedding, duvets or covers.

11. One more point about dogs. Dear Guests dog owners - we know how it is with dogs - once they roll around somewhere, then they do their business or go for a swim - we kindly ask you to keep your pets clean as well as the entire house and garden. The house will provide bags for cleaning up after the dog and we will prepare two towels for the dogs. If you need to wash them, please do so only outside.

12. The house is heated by fireplaces, which will be lit for your arrival on cold days. During your stay, you will have to light them yourself according to the instructions provided before arrival.

13. We kindly ask you to respect your neighbors and animals living in the forest and not play loud music during the day or at night. The night silence is from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

14. Please note that we are not responsible for any accidents or losses to guests or their property resulting from their stay at the Bëlny Dom.

15. Dear Guests, parents of small children - this may be obvious, but we ask you to supervise your children during your stay as you would at home. There are stairs in the house, the fireplaces may be hot, the terrace may be slippery during rain or snow. Please note point 12 - we are not responsible for any accidents or losses of Guests or their property resulting from their stay in the House.

16. We kindly ask you not to smoke inside the house.

17. The sauna located in the House is at your disposal. We kindly ask you not to enter the sauna in shoes.

18. We kindly ask you to segregate waste. Glass separately, metals and plastics separately, cardboard separately and all the rest is mixed waste.

19. Personal data - dear Guest, we will need your personal data to make a reservation. Twice a year we will send you our newsletter with information about available dates and a Kashubian curiosity. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter, please let us know.

20. Booking a house for 4 people (available off-season) means renting a house with two bedrooms available (does not hold), with one double bed in each bedroom.

21. Booking a stay is tantamount to accepting the above regulations.
