Have you ever watched “Doctor of the Alpine Village” and dreamed of a vacation in such an entourage? Or maybe you looked with envy at the Christmas meeting of friends in the music video for “Last Christmas”? I totally understand. I passionately browsed through magazines with Alpine interiors in the Chalet style and dreamed of creating a similar atmosphere in my hometown of Szczawnica. At first, I designed the house with our 2+2 family and a group of friends in mind. Over time, the project grew and I decided that it would be a place created for relaxation for all those who appreciate coziness, the warmth of the fireplace, exceptional quality and the luxury of spending time with the closest people. And the surroundings. On the one hand, the Pieniny Mountains at your fingertips, on the other hand, the highest lavender hills in Poland. If this mountain climate suits you and you are already rubbing your hands with anticipation of the cauldron, the bonfire and a bath in the tub, then take out your calendars and synchronize the dates with your team. The house has 4 bedrooms for 10 adults and 3 children.

You will provide pleasant company, and we will show you highlander hospitality. In good weather, in a Tuscan house on the edge of the plot, we will organize a feast with good wine and snacks. We will invite you to our restaurant or deliver food to your door. So, do we have an appointment?

The house is designed for 10 adults and 3 children. We have equipped the villa with everything you need for a truly comfortable holiday without worries.

On the first floor there is:
- master bedroom with a double bed, large wardrobe with glass doors, bathroom with bathtub
- bedroom with a double bed and a comfortable full-size sofa bed for two people
- bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed for one person
- bathroom shared by two rooms with a shower.
On the ground floor there is:
- spacious kitchen with a large island
- dining room
- large living room with a mezzanine, stylish fireplace made of old wood, comfortable sofa and access to the terrace
- bedroom with a double bed, sofa bed for two people and a bathtub in the room
- toilet
- garage for 1 car, with the option of extending the ping-pong table.
In the basement there is:
- laundry room.

Outside we have a large terrace, with a place to relax, and a zone called Little Toscany, on the edge of the plot, with a fireplace and a cauldron just made for feasting. The house is located a bit in the middle of nowhere, but still close to the center of Szczawnica, about a 15-minute walk. Additionally, there are two parking spaces on the property and several outside.

We leave the cooking mostly to you! However, if you would like to feel served, we will prepare breakfast for you upon request, deliver dinner from our restaurant "Dom Górskiego Czarda" or prepare a feast by the fire.

You better extend your vacation right away, because Szczawnica will absorb you completely. Our house does not have a tub, sauna or swimming pool. Our pleasure is good food in nice company. You probably have company, we will gladly show you highlander hospitality. In good weather, in a Tuscan cottage on the edge of the plot, we organize a feast with good wine and snacks in accordance with the philosophy of dolce far niente or a truly highlander feast with a cauldron of fire. When there is a storm outside, you can light a fire in the fireplace and immerse yourself in books from our library, fire up Netflix, the PS5 console, play ping pong, darts or simply enjoy the views. 

Now let's go beyond the fence. Closest to the house, our neighbors have created a place that will absolutely delight you. Lawendowe Wzgórza is the highest situated lavender plantation in Poland. A walk among the lavender with views of Szczawnica and the Pieniny Mountains will give you unforgettable impressions. This way you will also reach Bacówka pod Bereśnikiem and further on Bryjarka.

Our house is located in the spa zone, away from the buildings, but still close to the center. On foot you will reach the Upper Spa Park, the Zaskalnik waterfall, the historic Dworek Gościnny - the Szczawnica Kursalon, currently a multifunctional cultural center. Also visit Muzyczna Owczarnia in Jaworki. This is a legendary music club in the heart of the Pieniny Mountains, where it is worth dropping in and listening to live music.
For another dose of culture, we refer you to the Pieniny Museum, where the tour begins and ends from the Dunajec, a river that has become the biggest attraction of our town. To this day, rafting down the Dunajec gorge takes place on a wooden raft built by the raftsmen themselves. The route of the rafting route leads through the Polish and Slovak Pieniny National Park, and the characteristic peaks that can be admired along the way include: Trzy Korony, Siedem Mnichów and Sokolica.

In winter, from the house you can see the illuminated route of the Palenica cable car, nearby there is a lift in Jaworki and a little further away Kluszkowce. Pieniny has the power of attraction, they say that whoever has visited once, keeps coming back :)

Our children tested the fields and meadows around the house for a long time and unanimously decided that this was the best playground. In winter, sleds are a must, the lack of nearby buildings means that the hills for sliding are within reach. The plot is fenced, green, with a large garden, a swing and plenty of space to run. In the living room there is a chest with toys and books.

Although we don't have typical desks (one is a dressing table in the dressing room), we have more than enough comfortable beds and armchairs. When the weather is nice, a large table on the terrace or the small one by the atmospheric garden house in the southern style will be perfect for work. The internet is impeccable.
