About 40 km from Lisbon lies a small, bustling fishing town. A wide sandy beach separates it from the ocean, and then there’s nothing - just the waves of the deep blue ocean.
Here, on the Setúbal Peninsula, in a bay surrounded by the Serra de Arábida mountains, lies Sesimbra. Or... you could just as easily call it the "Portuguese pearl."
The air here smells of sunshine and the ocean, which once again messes up your hair. But you’ll also find traces of the distant past, stretching back to the times of the Romans and Moors. The old part of the town is a maze of narrow streets, and from the Moorish castle high above the town, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable view of the ocean and the surroundings. Or, stroll to the harbor of Porto do Abrigo to admire the colorful fishing boats. And while you’re there, wait for the return of the boats so you can buy freshly caught fish and seafood.

The house is situated on a farm. In addition to Casa do Monte, there are other houses on the farm (Casa do Monte is only a minute's walk away from another property), but don't worry - each has plenty of privacy.

Sesimbra is home to many excellent restaurants, but its most famous offering is its fresh fish.

Additionally, you can take peaceful countryside walks within the estate itself.... Or experience the bustling nightlife of the town up close – here, you can choose exactly what suits you and your needs.

For children, there is a peaceful farm where they can play freely. They can see the donkeys and horses and enjoy the fresh air of nature.
