From a height of 800 m above sea level, you can see and hear more. So sit down with a coffee on the terrace and try to hear what Babia Góra is whispering. Maybe it will tell you the legend of the bandit lover who, when she saw that her beloved had been captured, was petrified with despair. Or maybe about the mysterious (as yet unlocated) Hałeczkowa Polana and the witches' sabbaths that took place there on the eve of St. Lucy's Day. Babia Góra can whisper, and you can admire it from every corner of our shingled house. The mountains can be seen from the kitchen and the living room, from the terrace, from the hot tub and from the bedroom. This is exactly the kind of house with a view, for 8-12 people. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fireplace, a sauna and a home cinema.
It's full of fun, so you don't have to leave your place, but if you feel like hiking uphill, then yes, you can. There's a yellow trail leading directly from the house, which you can take for a walk to the top of Jałowiec. You can also do it more adventurously, by bike, conquer more single tracks, climb Babia Góra for sunrise, and after everything, massage your body in a tub with aeromassage and look at the stars by the campfire.
The living area with a large living room with a fireplace has panoramic windows overlooking the Police range and the majestic Babia Góra. The room is open and connected to the dining area, equipped with a large table for 8 people and a fully equipped kitchen.
We have prepared the house to welcome 8, and a maximum of 12 guests in very comfortable conditions, provided that the sofa beds in the living room are used.
On the spacious 160 m² we have:
- 4 bedrooms - each with a double bed, wardrobe, night lamps. There are desks in 2 bedrooms. The windows have external blinds.
- 3 bathrooms - each with a shower, bidet, hairdryer. You can also use the washing machine and dryer.
- Sauna for 6 people.
- Fully equipped kitchen with dining room connected to the living room with fireplace and home cinema.
- Exit to the terrace with furniture.
The house also has air conditioning.
Outside there is a sauna with aeromassage. A place for a fire and a gas grill.
In the kitchen with such views, every meal - even a sandwich with cottage cheese and tomato, tastes like a dish from the tasting menu.
If you want to go out for lunch or dinner, we especially recommend the Tabakowy Chodnik tavern and the culinary symbol of Zawoja - "Zawojski Pstrąg".
The house is also equipped with a high-quality gas grill.
There is a chance that the first impression will not allow you to move. The view of Babia Góra and the Polica range is hypnotizing and grounding. On the terrace, on the couch (viewing), in the tub, by the fire. It is best to turn off the pedometer for a while, so that it does not mistreat you for not meeting its expectations. After a proper breath, you can move on. For example, on the yellow trail to Mount Jałowiec, which starts right next to the house. You can cover it on foot or by mountain bike. There are of course mushrooms in the forests, and in Zawoja there are several streams to cool off in the summer.
Zawoja is the longest village in Poland, but also one of the best for sports. Only in the immediate vicinity can you jump out:
- for all kinds of sports, and you can rent equipment at the Jawor rental (in the Jawor hotel). They really have all kinds of sports equipment there. From mountain and electric bikes, through skis, snowboards, climbing equipment, roller skis, to segways.
- to Babia Góra, a must-see for all mountain lovers. Climbing it is not as difficult as it seems, and once you are at the top, you will be rewarded with wonderful views.
- to Hala Barankowa, a magical place in Zawoja. It is a clearing where sheep graze seasonally (April - September), so the carpet of grass is covered with clouds of sheep. There is also a shepherd's hut here, where you will be able to see how cheeses from sheep's milk are made. You can taste and buy such fresh cheeses on site. There is also a beautiful view of Babia Góra from the Hala. You can reach Hala Barankowa by car or on foot - along the black trail.
- for mountain bikes on the nearby single tracks - Babia Góra Trails and PKL Bike Parks Mosorny Groń.
- skiing on the excellently prepared Mosorny Groń with a chairlift,
- horse riding to the “Dyzma” Horse Riding Centre,
- walking to the Mosorny Potok Waterfall (apparently you can winter swim in it).
You can also get out into civilisation, and there:
- Maków Podhalański (Beskid Culture Week there from 29.07),
- Sucha Beskidzka with the famous Rome Inn and the Renaissance castle (Mały Wawel),
- Zawoja with the Babia Góra National Park Museum, Józef Żak Open-Air Museum in Zawoja Markowa.
What’s there for employees?
The house has fast Internet without data limit 60mb/s. There are desks in two bedrooms. In our "open space" there is silence, peace and a view of the mountains.
