The landscape of this part of Wielkopolska is several hundred fish ponds, the lazily flowing Barycz, nature reserves, protected ornithological areas, lakes for splashing. It is here, near Antonin with its hunting palace, that our house stands among the trees.
Our parents discovered this plot of land years ago and nurtured it in harmony with nature. Later we came and built a house in their beautiful garden. We wanted it to fit into the surroundings and be a cozy oasis. So we decided on a rustic interior, decorated the house with our daughter's paintings, created a winter garden for parties and yoga. Today we want to share this place with you. We hope that you will find peace and joy here - just like we have throughout all these years.
There are three bedrooms with two double beds on the ground floor, one double and two single beds on the first floor.
Our cottage is hidden in the heart of the forest, in a well-kept garden, on a fenced plot.
In the house:
- living room with fireplace and access to the terrace,
- small library,
- kitchen, 3
- bedrooms (up to 8 people),
- bathroom with shower,
- winter garden/conservatory.
Outside: terrace, barbecue.
We encourage you to prepare your own meals, we have a really well-equipped kitchen.
For the active, we have prepared games and sports equipment, and for relaxation, we invite you to the terrace, to the winter garden with a book from our small library, for walks along the picturesque paths or to the nearby lakes.
Do you know this part of Wielkopolska? Our area also has a lot to offer. Picturesque forest paths, nature reserves (Ostrzeszów Hills, Odolanowska Valley, Antonin), Barycz Valley Landscape Park, equestrian centers, an indoor swimming pool in Ostrzeszów, a historic palace in Antonin, swimming areas in Kobyla Góra and Górecznik Adventure Park - ideal for family trips.
We are located right next to the Barycz Valley, a land of ponds, birds and carps. We recommend that you visit the area:
- Antoniów, where you will find a swimming pool, a 19th-century palace with an English-style park, Lake Szperek and the annual "Chopin in Autumn Colours" festival,
- Przygodzickie Ponds, which are about 70 picturesque fish ponds,
- a viewing tower over the Trzcielin pond,
- a nature park in Odolanów (there is even an astronomical observatory here!),
- a hunting lodge from 1852 in Moja Wola, which, although its best days are long gone, still intrigues with its facade made of cork oak imported from Portugal,
- the colourful Carp Trail, which leads, among others, to through the tower of bluebirds above Grabownica Pond, the palace and park complex in Żmigród or the Polish horse sanctuary above Milicz (all places and a map here: https://dnikarpia.barycz.pl/szlaki/)
- the Barycz Valley Landscape Park.
When planning a trip to the latter, it is worth using an application that describes the trails and Barycz attractions. You can download it here https://www.dolinabaryczy.travel/ Another great idea for getting to know Barycz is a walk with forester Jakub Wenck - https://obrazylasu.pl/lesne-spacery/
