Modern Janosik, instead of stealing and robbing, would probably happily settle down in a tub and gaze at the snow-capped peaks of the Tatras. In a place like this, it is impossible not to soften and daydream. The settlement named after my favorite character from the series is located on land that used to be my grandparents' field. There are only two cottages here, because leisurely relaxation does not like crowds. Instead, it likes simplicity and quality: a panoramic view as part of the best entertainment, regional delicacies to welcome you, two steps to the trail to Turbacz, which runs right next to you. If you dream of a romantic weekend surrounded by mountains, it would be hard to find a better place to fulfill this dream. On the right, the Gorce National Park greets you, the Tatras call from the opposite direction, and it is up to you to decide whether you will put on comfortable shoes, cross-country skis or skis.

The Janosika settlement consists of 2 wooden houses with large windows facing the Tatras. They are located on a long, narrow plot of land that used to be my grandparents' field. There is a fabulous view of the mountain peaks, and the place is surrounded by forests, meadows and fields.

Theoretically, 6 people can sleep in the houses, but only if you don't mind each other's company. In practice, there is 1 large double bed (bedroom upstairs) and 2 fold-out sofas (one upstairs, the other downstairs).

Each of the houses has air conditioning.
House no. 2 has a washing machine at guests' disposal.
The facility, along with the parking lot, is monitored due to its location on the outskirts.

Each house is equipped with a kitchenette, which will allow you to cook freely and not worry about tidiness after the meal, because a dishwasher is included. A pressure coffee maker awaits coffee lovers. Regional delicacies will be waiting for all guests, which I will personally take care of.

If you plan to take a break from cooking, you will be only 4 km from Nowy Targ, where there are restaurants.

Relax and feast your eyes on a view that you will never forget. In the Janosika Settlement, you will wake up with a view of the peaks of the Tatras, 25 km away. I suggest you have your morning coffee on the terrace, spend your days discovering the area and relax in the evening in a tub under the stars.

You will find:
- The Black Trail, where our cottages are located: you can take it to Turbacz or stop in the Gorce valleys,
- Koliba on Łapsowa Polana, with beautiful views and pancakes with jam,
- Gorce National Park,
- Gorce Kilkuszowa Cross-Country Skiing Centre (1.8 km loop),
- a huge number of attractions in the Tatras (Kilkuszowa is located 30 km from Zakopane and 25 km from Bukowina Tatrzańska).

The internet works flawlessly, and the beautiful views provide additional motivation to finish work as quickly as possible and enjoy the surroundings.
