At noon in the summer, at the end of the world, on the Pisa River, in Podlasie. But it's a Podlasie with one foot wading into Mazury. That's where my home is. It would seem that there's nothing to do here, but after visiting many corners of the world, this is where I return most willingly. To a house smelling of wood, with a crackling fireplace, to the veranda where coffee tastes exceptional, to a comfortable couch - to read. When I come here, my nervous system rests. I slow down too. I have time for a morning walk to get eggs from Mr. Jacek's farm. After returning, it's time for scrambled eggs, which I eat in the dining room or in the gazebo overlooking the river. The daily schedule is outlined slowly - depending on the season and weather. When the heat pours from the sky, I jump over the fence to swim in the river or take friends on a kayaking trip. In winter, we light big bonfires, gather for a sleigh ride and walk through the forest. Autumn is mushrooms, golden sunsets and long walks with the dog. That means a lot of time outdoors and a lot of time on comfortable couches. That's how you have to live! If you feel this atmosphere, I invite you to my home. I will be happy to share this bliss with you.

Other rules

  • 1. The maximum number of guests that can stay in the facility is 8 people, the minimum booking time is 2 days.

    2. In the event of exceeding the declared number of people using the house (without the consent and knowledge of the owner), an additional one-time fee of PLN 2,000 should be expected.

    3. The tenant bears full and exclusive responsibility for all declared persons staying with them, including children.

    4. The tenant bears financial responsibility for any damage or destruction of equipment and devices caused by their fault or the fault of people visiting them during their stay.

    5. A deposit for possible damages in the amount of PLN 500 in cash is required from the tenant on the day of arrival at the house. It is a security in the event of damage during the stay. The deposit is returned on the day of check-out, provided that the technical condition of all items constituting the equipment of the house, as well as the building, and the area belonging to the house, is not damaged or in a worse condition than on the day of arrival.
    6. The Tenant should report any damage or destruction to the Landlord immediately after it occurs/is noticed.

    7. In the event of damage to equipment/property in the house, the Tenants are requested to inform the Landlord in order to repair/replace it. Financial compensation for the aforementioned repair/replacement will be charged according to the repair costs and must be paid no later than on the day of departure or on the day of receiving confirmation of the repair/replacement costs.

    8. For damage discovered after leaving the premises, the Landlord agrees to be charged the costs of repair or removal of the damage.

    9. The Tenant and all reported persons staying are obliged to comply with the rules of the regulations and fire safety.

    10. The Landlord is not responsible for any interruptions by water or electricity suppliers.

    11. Tenants are requested to find out where the fire extinguisher is located in the house and how to use it.
    12. Tenants are asked to close the entrance and balcony doors on the ground floor to prevent mice from entering the house.

    13. Ban on organizing loud parties. We do not rent the house for stag or hen parties. In the event of concealing such information, the owner reserves the right to immediately terminate the Landlord's stay in the house and is not obliged to return the money.

    14. Total ban on smoking inside the house. Furthermore, it is forbidden to leave open fire unattended, including other devices that may cause a fire hazard.

    15. In the event that the Landlord significantly disturbs the peace and/or property of neighbors and does not comply with generally applicable standards of coexistence between people, the owner of the house reserves the right to terminate the Tenant's stay and is not obliged to return the money for the unused period of stay.

    16. Strict ban on the use of any spectacular pyrotechnics, e.g. fireworks, on the entire plot and premises. 17. The Landlord is not responsible for any items left in the house. Items left and found can be returned at the Landlord's expense.

    18. Using the fireplace: Make sure the chimney is open before lighting the fire.
    • Remove any flammable items from the area around the fireplace.
    • Do not light the fireplace to extremely high temperatures so as not to damage the cast iron in the fireplace insert.
    • Do not use the fireplace if you are under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
    • Do not burn any plastic, paper, rubbish or other materials that are not intended for use in a fireplace.
    • Regularly remove ash from the fireplace when it is cold.
    • Keep children away from the fireplace.
    • Make sure the fireplace door is securely closed.
    • Do not use any flammable liquids such as gasoline or alcohol to light the fireplace.
    • Use available firewood and kindling, which are located in a designated place in the house.
    19. The tenant is obliged to use the grill in the designated place.
    20. In order to protect the house from damage or theft, the tenant is obliged to leave the house after closing the windows and entrance door with the key provided.
    21. The tenant is obliged to use the house and its equipment in a manner consistent with its intended use and without violating good manners and neighborly relations, including observing the night silence from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
    22. There is a total ban on smoking tobacco products and electronic cigarettes inside the house. Violation of the ban results in a fine of PLN 1,000.
    23. Alcohol located on the wall shelf in the dining area of the house is not for consumption by the tenant and other people in his company. Violation of this rule results in a fine of PLN 400.
