We’ll let you in on a secret, this is a place where love stories happen! Maybe it’s the seaside air, or the privacy that comes with your stay. Bring your special someone and find out for yourself. Flirt. With each other. With nature. Listen to the crickets singing amidst the lavender. Whether you’ve been together for a month, a year, 10, or 20—no one’s checking! Heat up your relationship by the fireplace, rediscover each other during long fireside chats. Take barefoot walks on the sandy beach or along the cliffs.
Fair warning, you won’t be entirely alone even though the cabin is in the middle of nowhere. Our chickens will be your friendly neighbours. It started with eggs, but let’s be honest, we have them because they’re cute. And then there are the guineas—our farm superheroes, always on tick-fighting duty. Both have since earned VIP status (Very Important Plushest) residents of the farm, and you’re welcome to join their fan club during your stay. Sometimes, while you’re unwinding, we’re off on vet adventures with them. But don't worry about any caretaking duties! The chickens live in a smart automated home, so if you'd rather keep to yourself, no obligation to visit them.
Welcome to our tiny cabin in Estonia, nestled in the old gardens of the ‘Rätsepa’ farmstead. Cozy, carefully designed, and close to nature. We love it for its location. It’s private, tucked right in the middle of the forest, yet just minutes from sandy beaches. We’ve put our hearts into building this place, and when you're not here, we love spending time here ourselves. Our tiny cabin is best suited for couples and couples with 1 child. We invite also solo travellers for getaways or short retreats.
Our tiny cabin features:
– a loft bedroom with a 140x200 cm bed, a snug Hungarian-down duvet, soft + medium pillows, and towels,
– a living area with a comfy fold-out sofa bed, a fireplace, a coffee table, and a TV with Netflix,
– a fully equipped kitchen (micro oven, stove, cafetière, espresso machine, Nespresso machine, pots, pans, BBQ equipment, and coals outside),
– a bathroom with a shower and a set of natural, biodegradable toiletries,
– heated floors to keep it cozy even in winter.
There’s also a big, wood-burning Finnish sauna. You’ll have enough wood to heat it for about 2 hours a day. If you want to stay in longer or make an outdoor firepit, feel free to bring some extra wood with you.
At night, the garden lights up with solar fairy lights and Christmas lights, and in the early morning, you might spot some wildlife wandering nearby.
In the summer, you’ll have access to an additional outdoor bathroom and kitchenette, a kids’ play area with a tent, a huge terrace, and even a traditional wood-burning pizza oven.
The cabin is open year-round, and it’s just as magical in the warmth of summer as it is in winter by the fireplace.
The property has exterior security cameras, but the area itself is unfenced, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the surrounding nature.
Whatever you bring :) The shops are just a few kilometers away, so you can grab anything you need on the way.
You’ll have access to a fully equipped kitchen, including an oven—perfect for cooking up whatever you feel like. I don’t need to tell you that meals (especially breakfast!) taste so much better when eaten outside with a view.
When the chickens grow up, you’ll be able to enjoy fresh eggs right from the coop.
During summer, we have a lovely herb garden, and soon the greenhouse will be up and running, so you’ll be able to dig in and enjoy even more fresh produce.
And if you’re in the mood for a true holiday from cooking, there’s a historic tavern (8km), bakery (17km), café (8km), and even sushi (13km).
Nature takes the lead, and this place is all about slowing down and spending time with yourself. You’ll have the whole garden to explore (about 5000m2!), with lavender beds, herb gardens, and the chickens’ home. You can even help us out by playing with the fluffy friends or topping up their food if you’re staying longer.
There are plenty of things to enjoy at your own pace. You can stroll to the nearby sandy beaches for a swim, or get a fishing license and try your hand at catching something. The area is also known for its great hiking trails, so you’ll have plenty of space to stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh air.
In winter, guests often cozy up by the fireplace or unwind in the sauna, and in summer, the crickets and the scent of lavender create the perfect soundtrack for relaxation. In summer you can even fire up the barbecue by the outdoor kitchen.
If you’re up for a bit of adventure, there are some cool spots within driving distance, like the Arvo Pärt Centre or the Rummu underwater prison. And Tallinn’s just a short 40-45 minute drive away, so you can easily catch a concert and still be back in time for a peaceful evening here.
We’ve also made sure to leave room for surprises—so you’ll always find something new to discover.
The garden’s not just pretty to look at, either—it’s a haven for wildlife, from birds and owls to occasional moose or deer. So, if you're lucky, you might spot something special.
What’s there for children?
Your little ones will love being outdoors here! We’ve set up a special big tent in the garden just for them, so they can play all day long under the open sky. There’s also plenty of space to run around and explore. The fluffy chickens are a big hit with the kids—playing with them and feeding them is always a fun adventure.
They’ll also enjoy the garden we’ve created, full of flowers, fruit trees, and over 40 bird nests and insect hotels. It's become a magical place where kids can explore and learn about nature, all while breathing in the fresh air. If you’re lucky, your little adventurers might even spot some wildlife—a deer, moose, or lynx might pass by.
And let’s not forget the nearby sandy beach, where they can build sandcastles and swim in the sea. Perfect for a day of sun, sand, and splashes!
What’s there for employees?
If you need to work while you're here, it’s definitely possible. Our internet isn’t the fastest, but it gets the job done. While we encourage disconnecting and fully embracing the getaway, we understand that sometimes work still needs to be done. For that, we’ve got decent Wi-Fi and a small table in the living room that can double as a workspace. There’s also a table outside if you prefer working in the fresh air.
After work, we highly recommend taking a walk to the beach, followed by a relaxing session in the sauna.
