Hello, this is Marcin and Dominika, the Hosts of the palace where you will feel at home. Instead of Gryffindor or Slytherin, the Sorting Hat drew us a neoclassical palace from the 18th century. In 2002, my mother, a retired Warsaw operetta singer, bought the ruins of the Knobelsdorff family estate along with 5 hectares of the palace park. Over the years, piece by piece and within her means, she renovated the building, and believe me, there was more work than if we wanted to build this palace from scratch. In 2020, I took over the estate from my mother and, together with my wife Dominika and our daughter Klara, we rolled up our sleeves. We managed to replace the window frames, roof, floors, clean and develop the park and walking paths. We also fulfilled our dream of 5 family apartments, a café and a pottery studio.
Today, we can happily say: “Come and giggle at Gichach”. Let's giggle together. With local wine by the bonfire, during pottery workshops, classical-sport archery lessons or a trip to local monuments, with me as your guide. Let yourself be pampered by the silence and deckchairs in the garden, a fresh fruit tart, great coffee and free time. Even parents of toddlers will have 10 minutes of peace to enjoy the luxury of warm coffee. We have animators in the Palace, and a nanny will take care of the youngest children. In general, in Chichy we love our little guests and our little guests love us. How do we know that? Because school and kindergarten groups very often use our attractions. We have been visited by over 8,000 children of different ages, and their satisfaction is like the Order of the Smile for us. Come and spend a family holiday, pottery, horse riding, kayaking, cricket and delicious food. For the palace all-inclusive.
Our Palace may look impressive from the outside. You know—history, old walls, tall windows, a park, a pond, and trees that hold more memories than many of us.
But you only have to cross the threshold to discover that inside it's quite… cozy.
We run the Palace as a family, and that's exactly how we want to welcome you. No pretense, no stiff hotel atmosphere. More like good friends who want to be shown the best spot in the neighborhood and told, "Come, sit here, it's the nicest."
### Apartments with a View of a Little More
We have 5 apartments for 5-6 people, ranging in size from 50 to 80 m². That's a total of 36 people with extra beds. Each has its own bathroom, refrigerator, TV, and a space where you can work, relax, or simply close the door and hide from others for a while. Which is also a very important feature of an apartment. ;)
Each apartment has a double bed and 2-4 single beds that can be joined together.
From your windows, you gaze out onto the palace gardens, a landscaped park, or a pond. So there are views that make you drink your coffee a little slower.
### Children? Klara will take care of them.
If you're bringing children, we have good news.
Klara lives at the Palace—our daughter, the Great Organizer of Children's Activities.
Klara believes that children definitely shouldn't be bored. And she's clearly right about that.
In the garden, the little ones can enjoy activities like a trampoline, swings, speedminton, badminton, speedball, soccer and volleyball, goals, nets, bouncy balls, hammocks, a sandbox, and a wooden playhouse.
All available to our guests at no extra charge.
And the garden is large. Really large.
The street is about 100 meters away—and in a completely different direction than most children's attractions.
So it's definitely too far for children to go there. Besides, there are so many important things to do here, adventures to experience, and things to build that any street has no chance of competing.
And if you're dreaming of a 15-minute break without the kids, don't worry.
After four hours of blissful silence, you'll probably start wondering:
**"Hello... where are our kids anyway?"**
### Water
8 minutes and you're at the lake 🌿
The charming Małomice Reservoir awaits you—perfect for a summer break from strolls around the palace.
There's a **beach with straw umbrellas**, a supervised swimming area with a lifeguard, and a **large playground**, so kids have plenty to do while adults can calmly catch some sun and breathe. 😉
You can swim, lie on the beach, read a book, or simply do what you do best on vacation—**nothing**
### Coffee. Lots of coffee.
Aromatic coffee and tea await you in the Palace bar—at no extra charge.
And our Italian coffee is truly excellent. It will satisfy even those who think coffee isn't a drink, but a separate food group.
### Restaurant exclusively for our guests
The Palace houses the Palazzo Ristorante, available exclusively for our guests.
This means less random hustle and bustle, more peace, and the ability to enjoy dinner without the feeling of having to give up your table.
You can simply sit down, order something delicious, and stay.
### A little clay, a little art
If, instead of lying on a lounger, you'd rather sculpt something, paint something, or see if the pottery wheel really spins as fast as in the movies, we invite you to our Ceramics Studio.
You can sculpt something yourself, try working on the pottery wheel, or simply paint some ceramics.
Workshops are available individually or in groups, so you can bring your children, friends, your significant other, or simply by yourself.
Because sometimes the best time to relax is when your hands have something to do and your mind can stop for a moment.
### And when you really want to slow down…
We also organize recurve and sport archery workshops with elements of meditation.
So, a little target shooting, a little focus, and plenty of contact with nature.
Plus, Pilates sessions for those who enjoy relaxation, also in the "let's stretch that thing that's been sitting at a desk all year" kind of way.
### And finally—we're leaving the Palace.
Although, you don't actually have to go far.
Our landscape park begins just beyond the gate, and its ancient trees do what they do best—provide shade, peace, and a feeling that time passes a little slower.
And if you walk a little further, the dirt roads begin about 50 meters from the palace gates.
You can walk along them, ride a bike, get lost for a moment, or find a place where the phrase "Let's stay here a little longer" fits perfectly.
Because I think that's what Chicha Palace is all about.
So that nothing needs to be done in a hurry.
So that the kids can have their own adventures, the adults can have a moment of peace, the coffee tastes a little better than usual, and in the evening, you can sit in the garden and think:
"Okay. Maybe we should stay one more night."
### Palazzo Ristorante, so it's also worth staying for dinner
At Palazzo Chichy, life isn't just about the view 😉
That's why at our restaurant, **Palazzo Ristorante**, we cook for you the way we like to eat—plenty of flavor, good ingredients, and a touch of Italian sunshine mixed with Polish tradition.
We prioritize **high quality and localness**. We use products from local suppliers and choose ingredients we'd happily put on our own table. Because we believe that good cuisine begins with good produce.
To start your day off right, we offer a **breakfast made with local produce included in the price of your stay**. And if you're still hungry after breakfast—don't worry. We also serve lunch and dinner to those who wish.
Coffee and tea are available to our guests all day long. You'll find the buffet on the ground floor, in the Boudouir, and our small café is right next door.
And we warn you—it's best not to go there hungry.** Especially if you're a fan of fruit tarts. Ours turn out so well that we suspect we have a secret ritual for it somewhere in the kitchen. 🍓
The menu blends **flavors of southern Europe with those we've known since childhood**. So, sometimes it's Italian and light, other times homey and very Polish.
You might find lobster and shrimp risotto, shrimp in white wine, salmon baked with lemon, dill, and pepper, or free-range chicken breast with chanterelles.
And if you're longing for the classics—you'll find aromatic **duck broth with homemade dumplings made according to a family recipe**, Italian-style tomato cream with mozzarella and basil, or onion cream, about which we'll immodestly say only this:
**worth trying and judging for yourself.**
And that's just the beginning of our culinary story.
It's best to just sit down at the table, order something delicious, and let dinner drag on for a while.
You're on vacation, after all. **There's no rush.** 🍷
You can stroll like a nobleman through the palace park and admire the sculptures, lounge on a lounger in our large garden, or read a book by the pond. However, if you enjoy being active, you couldn't have chosen a better place! We have a whole host of suggestions for you:

- Let us talk you into a kayaking trip – don't worry about the organization, we'll take care of everything.
