Every Pole has heard of Jurand from Spychowo. But about Jurand from Pupy? It's a good thing that Sienkiewicz lived in the 19th century, and not after the war, when the German Puppen (Old Prussian for broad beans or peas) was renamed the Polish Pupy. Because when Pupy was not appreciated, at the request of the residents, the name of the village was changed to Spychowo, inspired by the novel. And although the book's version was fictional, our Spychowo, lying among 4 lakes, is very real. A forest peninsula with a beach and piers for the few visitors to these areas protrudes towards Lake Zdróżno. Even bees have their own Promontory of Peaceful Bee Old Age here. This is a place for those who want to hear birdsong instead of the sounds of the city, run to the water instead of catching a tram in the morning, and meet other sensitive travelers for breakfast at a guesthouse instead of business partners. You can count on a friendly atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, bicycles on site and a sauna for relaxing evenings. So if the time has come when you feel like leaving everything behind and watching the dawn over the Masurian lake, you couldn't have come to a better place. We will take care of your well-being just like they do in Spychów. Come!
