It may sound strange, but the ground floor is our favorite part of the house. We look at our feet with the same delight as we do at Tuscan sunsets. 2,500 handmade Graniglia tiles, each different, were originally intended for decorative frames. We bought them blindly and arranged them into a one-of-a-kind mosaic that regularly appears in interior design magazines.

Teracielo is a 14th-century barn, the interior of which I designed with my daughter. The rooms are filled with mementos from our travels, and the outside is a space for lazy relaxation in the Tuscan countryside. You can hide in the shade on the patio, take a leisurely dip in the pool, or plan day trips to Florence or Siena. We recommend a short walk to the Arno River. According to sweet polls, you will find the best ice cream in Italy there! Flavors? Timeless Bronte pistachio, local chestnut, olive oil or basil. We invite you with your family or a group of friends to soak up the sun and enjoy the Italian dolce far niente that has been enchanting us since 2002.

Other rules

Staying in Terracielo as part of the rental is tantamount to taking full civil, criminal and compensatory liability for any of your (and your companions') possible harmful actions or omissions during the stay in question. TERRACIELO STAY REGULATIONS.

These Regulations define the rules for using the houses and staying on the entire property, hereinafter referred to as TERRACIELO
1. The Parties (Tenant and Landlord) agree that a necessary condition for staying on the Terracielo premises and using its house, garden and swimming pool is to read these Regulations and accept their provisions. Paid stay on the Terracielo premises is tantamount to accepting these regulations and concluding a rental agreement with the Landlord (owner of Terracielo). 2. The stay begins on the first day of the rental at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 10:00 a.m. on the last day of the rental. Earlier or later arrival or departure times are possible only after prior arrangement with the Lessor. 3. In the event that the Tenant shortens their stay for reasons beyond the control of the Lessor, the cost of the rent due shall be retained by the Lessor. 4. When handing over the house to the Tenant, the Lessor shall make all devices and equipment available to him/her, and the Tenant shall declare that he/she has become familiar with their condition and shall not raise any objections to it. 5. The Tenant is obliged to use the house and all devices and equipment belonging to Ostoja in accordance with their intended use and undertakes to take care of their proper technical and sanitary condition. 6. When handing over the house/building located on the premises of Terracielo to the Tenant, the Lessor shall make available to him/her a fireplace burning only wood, and the Tenant declares that he/she is able to operate it and takes full responsibility for its operation and related safety. The Tenant is obliged to comply with fire safety rules and is responsible for any damage caused in the house and on the premises during the rental period, resulting from his fault or lack of caution in the use of the fireplace and other devices. The Lessor will not be liable for bodily injury, damage to health or other damage caused as a result of an accident resulting from improper use of the fireplace or other device by the Tenant and persons staying with him on the premises during the rental period, which the Tenant confirms by accepting these Regulations. 7. The Lessor declares that on the premises he makes available to the Tenant a grill, other sharp tools, gardening tools and other items in the state of Ostoja that may pose a threat to life or health if used improperly. The Lessor reserves that he will not be liable for bodily injury, damage to health or other property and personal damage caused as a result of an accident during the use of the above. objects or other devices, especially due to their improper use, after consuming alcohol or without due care and use by minors under the care of adults responsible for them. 8. Any technical failures noticed by the Tenant or persons staying with him on the premises of Terracielo during the rental period in any house/building and on its premises, the Tenant is obliged to report immediately to the Lessor by phone at: +39 338602032610. The Tenant and persons staying with him on the premises of Terracielo during the rental period are fully liable for any property and personal damage or destruction of equipment or devices located on the premises, which are caused by their fault. 11. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms of the house and on the terrace. 12. The Tenant is obliged to clean up any dirt left by his pet in the area around the houses. 13. There is a night-time silence on the premises between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. 14. The tenant is obliged to lock the cottage doors, completely extinguish the fire in the fireplace and grill when leaving it. 15. The landlord is not liable for the loss or damage of money, securities, valuables or items of scientific or artistic value or other material items of guests. 16. The landlord or a person authorized by him has the right to remove the tenant and persons staying with him on the premises during the rental period before the end of the rental period in the event of their violation of the rules of social coexistence, these regulations and generally understood safety rules. In such a situation, the cost of the rental and its entire period is retained by the landlord.
