Hello, we wave to you from the Wdzydzki Landscape Park, from the Tuchola Forest, from Kashubia. We invite you to a place built by the power of our stubbornness, Uhlan imagination and even bigger dreams. About life in the countryside, among animals, close to nature and water. On a large plot of land, by the Wda River, we built our family home and your holiday home "forest summer". Apart from that, there are no other neighbours, unless we are talking about quadrupeds. Peppe and Pigi - Hucul horses - romp in the pasture by the house, and sheep: Hesia, Mela, Adela, Kajtek, Ogonek, Jędrek, Moondek, Ludek, Ela and Fernando are waiting for petting. We also have cats, dogs, hens and an unfriendly rooster Grzebyk, who deigns not to attack only us. He wants to kill the rest of the creatures at all costs, therefore fencing our house off from the forest summer is necessary and not unjustified. The story of the forest summer is quite unusual. It is a house made of a 100-year-old fir log, which we bought in Zakopane from Mrs. Janina. We decided to dismantle it and build it in a slightly modified form on our family land, on the edge of the village of Loryniec. We sealed it with linen and wool from our sheep, created a charming bathroom with bird tiles, a large kitchen with a living room and 3 bedrooms for 6-8 people. We have board games, books, a fireplace, a creaking old floor, mice, a crowing rooster, bleating sheep, galloping horses, purring cats, barking billy goats, a rustling forest, a rushing river, screaming cranes and mosquitoes doing acupuncture. If you are looking for contact with nature, peace and quiet, relaxation, lack of hustle and bustle and lack of people, then come to us, we invite you - Kinga and Lusia.
In a log house that came to the lakes straight from Zakopane. It will comfortably accommodate 6 adults and two children.
On the ground floor:
- Kitchen with a lounge (large table, comfortable sofa bed, terrace, large window, fireplace).
- Next to it is a bedroom with a huge wooden bed.
- There is one, but large bathroom with a shower and heated floor.
On the first floor there is an open space for rest, relaxation, yoga or playing with children. There are also two bedrooms, each with two single beds. The beds can be combined into a large double bed if necessary.
The house has a large kitchen equipped with everything needed for cooking and a dining room with a large table.
Welcome to the land of lakes, in the Wdzydzki Landscape Park, right on the Wda River and a stone's throw from Lake Schodno. You can get to the river directly from the plot, there is a small jetty on the river - you can splash around there. You can get to Lake Schodno in 10 minutes on foot and 3 minutes by car. If you want to paddle, we have two SUP boards and a boat for rent. On the other hand, kayaking trips on the pleasant Wda are organized directly from our village.
A forest, wild spa awaits you in the garden - a tub with herbs for bathing in the open air and a pre-war bed with a straw mattress made of our hay for napping. There is of course a hammock, a swing, a sandbox and a place for a bonfire.
For walks, we recommend forests full of berries, mushrooms and lakes. In the area there is a stud farm, a mini zoo, numerous cycling and hiking trails.
You are also close to Wdzydze Kiszewskie, where there is an open-air museum and the largest lake in Kashubia called the "Kashubian Sea".
Right next to the house graze our Hucul horses Pepa and Pigi, we also have sheep that love to be petted and massaged. And so Hesia, Mela, Adela, Kajtek, Ogonek, Jędrek, Moondek, Ludek, Ela and Fernando are waiting for petting.
The area where you will be resting, apart from the "forest summer" and our house, has no other neighbours and is fenced so that you feel comfortable being with your human or animal children.
We also have hens and a not very hospitable rooster Grzebyk, who does not only attack us. He wants to kill the rest of the creatures at all costs, hence the fence of our house was necessary.
